Position Summary

As a Security Engineer/Tester, you will be performing authorized security testing on some of the very complex, massive scale, and highly critical applications. As part of a shift left focus, you will be working part of the development team along with developers to proactively identify any security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, CWE) at the earliest before they are discovered late in cycle by InfoSec teams or in production. You will be working as a liaison between the Infosec team and development teams, understanding the security issues reported by central InfoSec teams to development teams to help them understand and fix them. This is essentially a supervisor training program. We train our Flex Officers with the hopes that they will become Supervisors and then managers. 40+ hours a week guaranteed, locations to vary, however the same days off will be pretty consistent. Most of the shifts you work will be over night grave shifts , some of them will be swing and occasionally we will ask you to work days. We do our best to give you a consistent schedule and as we grow other opportunities may become available.

1st Year Hourly Pay: $30.00 + $1.00/hour (uniform maintenance) = $31.00/hr

2nd year Hourly Pay or when you make supervisor, whichever is first: $32.00 + $1.00/hour (uniform maintenance) = $33.00/hr

Vacation Time: 24 hours the 1st year (based on working 40 hours/week) then an additional 8 hours added every year thereafter (2nd year 32 hrs, 3rd year 40 hrs, 4th year 48 hrs, etc.)

Job Description: Our Flex Officers are trained to work at every job site within SGT. This includes working mobile vehicle patrol. We depend on our Flex Officers to work a job site whenever there is a call off or a fire watch. Typical job site locations would be; San Francisco, Berkeley, Redwood City, Fremont, San Jose, Mountain View, etc.

The mobile vehicle patrol aspect of this job will have you driving all of the Bay Area in a marked security vehicle (picked up in Newark CA), which is usually a black Ford Explorer with light bar and spotlights. Officers visit many different properties throughout each night. Typical mobile patrol duties are to look for anything unusual, enforce parking rules, scan checkpoints, write detailed reports w/pictures, and respond to calls for service like an alarm or noise complaint.

Summary: Essentially we depend on our Flex Officers for just about everything. We are still a startup company so you must be "ALL IN" on this opportunity, which simply means you are dedicated to do whatever is needed to take care of our clients. Normally we work 8 hour shift, however sometimes this means working 12 hour shifts and working extra days to help cover open shifts. However, our goal is for everyone to be able to make great money and not have to work overtime on a regular basis.

Once a Flex Officer has been shown to be proficient at all SGT job locations, that officer may be promoted to Supervisor and a $2/hour increase in pay. Supervisors are then groomed to become managers.

• Post check security officers for well being and uniform inspections.
• Train security officers on post orders and standard operating procedures.
• Work post sites when officers are late or call off.
• Answer phones and dispatch the officers in the field for service calls.

• Conduct patrol tours of using a checkpoint scanning system with smartphone.

Position: Site Security Manager

Reports To: Datacenter Physical Security Campus Security Manager

SUMMARY:

The Site Security Manager (SSM) serves as the day-to-day manager of a site security team that includes administrative officers, responders, and other security personnel at a client’s datacenter. The SSM is responsible for building a cohesive and high performing team. Reporting directly to the Campus Security Manager (CSM), the SSM works alongside other security team managers in their campus to ensure a safe and secure environment. Additional job functions may include client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, Security Operations Center (SOC) systems maintenance, audit compliance, system monitoring, log maintenance, and access rights maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Actively manages site security personnel; partners with the local branch to recruit and hire, oversee onboarding, training, and development at the datacenter.

2. Coaches security personnel and carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with current policy.

3. Ensures all responders and control room supervisors adhere to policies and standard operating procedures, acting as responder or control room supervisor in periods of increased activity or in the case of absent staff.

4. Ensures site health and key performance indicator goals are met or exceeded; works with the CSM to enhance security team effectiveness and performance.

5. Conducts recalling audits, prepares, and submits critical and confidential information directly to client management team.

6. Oversees site security systems to ensure safe and compliant operation of the facility.

7. Maintains and troubleshoots on-site security technology.

8. Assists with site equipment inspections, and audit compliance.

9. Maintains required security documentation, ensuring accuracy in accordance with established policies and procedures.

10. Serves as primary point of contact to datacenter management and security personnel when the CSM is unavailable.

11. Performs additional tasks assigned by management.

12. Keeps management informed of major accomplishments, issues and concerns.

13. Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program.

14. Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility.

15. Required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Notify supervisor upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS: Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree in relevant field and 4 or more years of related experience in the security industry or business management equivalents, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. • Experience in management.

• Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Experience working in a datacenter environment a plus.

• Working knowledge and experience with various security technologies including CCTV, access control systems, incident management software, and other video surveillance software.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday hours, such as during an emergency event or crisis.
