We have an exciting transformational opportunity for a Director, Cash Clearing Center of Excellence (CoE), managing the end to end cash processing within the Insurance General Account Portfolios.
The position will report to the Investment Management Operations within Investment services. In this role, you will work with key stakeholders including affiliated and third-party asset managers, third-party administrative service providers, controllership organization, and the investment management leadership team. You will be expected to become the subject matter expert in cash services with full ownership and a thorough understanding of the end-to-end model. You must also have the ability to understand accounting requirements, at a high level, related to trade classifications and treatment of assets within Accounting Book of Record and downstream reporting. You must also be able to analyze and present cash clearing account reconciliation metrics.
The team functions alongside other Centers of Excellence in Public, Privates, Mortgage Loans and Bank Loan Securities and has opportunities to contribute to the development of the Operations organization. This role offers an opportunity to be part of the team enabling administering over $250B of General Account (GA) portfolio operations end-to-end; through partnering with investment management, middle-office data management, and technology teams; actively monitoring exposures; managing risk; and managing a team of specialists. This leadership role will set direction for the team, contribute to the development of the vision, influence refinement of operating model and processes, and be a subject matter expert for operational matters. The Impact

The Opportunity

Description
The Quality Inspector is responsible for the inspection, documentation, and certification of critical components throughout the production process, including parts subject to flight safety requirements. This role ensures compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements through precise measurement and rigorous recordkeeping.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs various inspection activities utilizing precision inspection equipment at all phases of product manufacturing. Uses GD&T concepts, customer supplied specifications, and internal standards, to ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Read and understand complex engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications.
- Compare recorded measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances and notify specified persons of discrepancies using NCF and MRB process
- Familiarity with the use of various inspection and measurement equipment, i.e. CMM, FARO Arm, Borescope, Optical Comparator, etc. preferred
- Strong understanding of units of measure and applicability to GD&T principles
- Must be self-motivated and able to adjust to a dynamic work environment and tempo while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong professional ethics combined with the ability to function well on teams.

Removes burrs and sharp edges or excess material from metal components including contouring certain edges and features.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Removes excess metal and surface defects from aerospace hardware or machined surfaces using pneumatic or hand held abrasive wheels or belted grinding equipment.
- Uses abrasive belt or wheel according to customer specifications or type of finish specified, product being polished, or amount of metal to be removed, using knowledge of polishing operations and abrasives. Monitors abrasive wheel or belt for wear.
- Operates polisher, grinder, or deburring tools and removes metal and surface defects or contours edges of components based on specifications of blue-prints or work instructions.
- Inspects work for acceptability of finish. Moves finished components to next work station for further processing.
- Performs other work as assigned by the supervisor.
Position Requirements
- Ability to lift or transfer components or objects of no more than 50 pounds.
- Understand and follow written and oral instructions in English and possess basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assist in tooling and process development.

- Set-up and operate Horizontal and Vertical CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls according to engineering specifications, instructions, GD&T and operation sheets. Knowledge of manual machines is a plus.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures and tool holders for a given job.
- Run similar jobs of short cycle times for extended periods of time where manufacturing processes are stable and do not require frequent change.

Description
The Production Planner will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of raw materials, jobs & operations (in house and outside) within an ERP environment and on the shop floor. This role will be responsible for ERP data integrity as well as the flow of the jobs throughout the manufacturing process.
Planner will also be required to achieve high level of customer product delivery (ship to commit) integrity while keeping minimum inventory level of finished goods and WIP.

- Create, release and maintain material requisitions and jobs to meet customer demand.
- Submit and track status of Material and OSV requisitions; confirm PO creation.
- Create and release work orders; maintain work order accuracy (Engineering Changes (ECs), process changes, reprints, etc.).
- Coordinate with production, engineering, sales, purchasing & shipping/receiving to expedite the flow of work orders.
- Monitor and take immediate reschedule action in case of customer demand changes (push-out or pull-ins).
- Audit and maintain ERP system inventory data for accuracy, including cycle count program.
- Work with operations team to analyze work center load/capacity and schedule work accordingly.
- Provide monthly/weekly delivery commitments and ensure 100% commit integrity.
- Monitor finished goods inventory, work in progress and reduce levels to satisfy the company's target metrics.
- Execute inventory transactions from issuance of material to creation of finished goods shippers.
- Achieve high level of customer Percent On Time Delivery (%OTD) performance and minimize overdue/past due orders.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives.
Position Requirements
Skills and qualifications:
- A proactive team player with a background in production planning/scheduling and inventory control in a capacity-constrained system.
- Prior machine shop planning experience preferred, but not required. Some manufacturing planning experience beyond simple assembly is required.
- Knowledge and experience of MRP/ERP and schedule control in a data-driven environment.
- Proficient in MRP (Epicor preferred but not required)
- Must possess excellent reasoning and communication skills.
- This role requires a high level of energy, creating thinking and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
- Proficient in MS office

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of a Radiologist the CT Technologist performs exams at a technical level that does not require direct supervision over technical detail. This position requires advanced medical imaging knowledge, including skill in cross-sectional anatomy. A complete knowledge of all types of diagnostic CT exams and interventional procedures is required. Uses independent judgment, ingenuity and acquired knowledge to obtain quality diagnostic images. Assists with interventional procedures.
COMPETENCIES:
- Must have a full knowledge of CT exams and interventional procedures. Technologist must be capable of performing exams independently.
- Must have a complete working knowledge in the principals of physics, anatomy, medical terminology, sterile technique and radiation protection as it relates to CT practice.
- Must be able to speak, read and write effectively using the English language.
- This position requires the incumbent work cooperatively with department staff by sharing in taking rotational call and holiday hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES:

Job-Specific Competency
1. Assures that patient’s clinical data coincides with and matches the type of exam that is being ordered. Follows up with Doctor’s office when exam ordered is in question and does not seem reasonable given the patient’s clinical record.
2. Assist Radiologist in interventional procedures. Coordinates patient’s medical needs with the Radiology Nurse. Assures that room is properly equipped for procedure and cleaned appropriately post procedure.
3. Assures female patients of child bearing ages are screened for possibility of pregnancy.
4. Demonstrates skill in IV insertion.
5. Documents exams into radiology system to ensure proper billing.
6. Independently runs one’s own schedule and properly documents patient flow while remaining sensitive to patients care and other co-workers needs and desires. Remains flexible in patient flow in order to accommodate daily emergency calls and requests for inpatient procedures. Assists in obtaining transportation for patients when procedures are scheduled by internal Hospitalists, Physicians, etc.
7. Demonstrates competency in performing all types of CT scans
8. Processes CT exams utilizing the teleradiology system during off shift hours. Able to trouble shoot problems and contact correct help lines if necessary.
9. Demonstrates the ability to choose correct protocols for patients based on age and size.
10. Accurately completes computer (Meditech) patient procedure documentation. Assures the accuracy of documentation understanding that all items will be charged to the patient’s hospital bill. Submits correctly documented and labeled exam to the Radiologist and is available for review and discussion. Reviews each exam for technical accuracy.
11. Transports patients when needed.
12. Performs quality assurance in accordance with the American College of Radiology guidelines for CT.
13. Reviews post instructions to patient (example: hydration, when physician will receive results)
14. Demonstrates ability to trouble shoot any electronic equipment such as scanner, workstations, and printers.
15. Independently responds on a call basis to perform procedures. Drives to affiliate and/or contracted location to provide services as may be required.
16. Works cooperatively and exhibits Core Values at all time in order to accomplish all tasks as a member of the Medical Imaging Team.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent; graduate of an ARRT approved Radiological Technology School program is required.
- Registration and certification with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensure with the State of Connecticut are required.
- Must remain current with ARRT continuing education requirements and maintain an active ARRT certificate.
- Advanced certification from the ARRT in Computerized Tomography is expected from the incumbent within one year of hire.
- Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire and maintain clinical competency during employment in this role
