As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications or side effects. You will provide initial wound care to the patients’ surgical site and ensure patient stability during recovery. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team. Position Overview: Patient Experience Advisor

As a Patient Experience Advisor, you will serve as a strategic partner to our clients, owning the day-to-day relationship focused on driving meaningful improvements in patient experience. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $81,000 - $115,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. The Program Manager is responsible for the execution of task orders for a government customer. The PM ensures all program and project activities meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives while maintaining compliance with DoD, DISA, and Federal policies and standards. This position requires hands-on management of personnel, resources, deliverables, and communications to ensure operational excellence and mission success. The Program Manager serves as the primary interface between the Contractor and Government leadership, responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling all activities under the task order(s).

This is an onsite position located within the National Capital Region. Individuals must reside within a commutable distance in order to work onsite full time.

Responsibilities Include:

The OR Scrub Tech/Surgical Technologist assists with the nursing care of patients under the supervision of an OR Registered Nurse and functions as a sterile scrub person caring for patients undergoing surgery within the OR suite.

• You will set up the sterile surgical field using aseptic technique, utilizing knowledge of: Human Anatomy and Physiology and the physician’s preferences for surgical instrumentation, suturing, passing, dissecting, retracting, and closing of surgical wounds.
• Assist the circulating Registered Nurse with operating room set up, equipment, and positioning of the surgical patient as well as break down of instrument table.
• You will perform supply management duties

What qualifications you will need:

• Surgical Technology Program graduate, or equivalent training (required)
• Certified Surgical Technologist and Licensed with the Commonwealth of Virginia (required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions.
• Hands-on operation vacuum equipment and hydroblasting equipment.
• Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized hydroblasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job.
• May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job.
• Perform any and all duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders.
• May direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
• May transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
• Completes pre and post trip inspections, driver’s logs and complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements.
• Loading and unloading hoses.
• Unload vacuum truck at the dump site.
• Provide general maintenance in the field.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs.
• Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
• Valid driver’s license, CDL Class A other requirements of company’s driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.
• Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device.
• Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required
• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck.
• Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
