Work Environment
Information Professionals serve in challenging roles of increasing scope and responsibility both afloat and ashore. This could include:

Training & Advancement
Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.
Upon completion, candidates typically attend a five-week IP Basic Course of instruction in Pensacola, FL, before or during their initial assignment. IPOs must complete specific qualifications as part of their training during Fleet tours and are expected to pursue advanced education opportunities.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Postgraduate education is important to the success of the Information Professional. Most IPs will complete a master's degree in C4I, space, information systems, computer science or modeling and simulation.

Qualifications & Requirements
A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. Candidates seeking an Information Professional Officer position must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a technical field, preferably in one of following fields: Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Operations, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, General Engineering.
All candidates must also be: U.S. citizens, willing to serve worldwide, eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance and qualified for sea duty.

Part-Time Opportunities
There are part-time opportunities available as an Information Professional Officer.
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent of that.

Job Overview
The Medical Information Specialist is a contract role supporting day to day Medical Information (MI) including Medical Review Committee (MRC) responsibilities. This role coordinates cross functional review activities, tracks MI projects and deliverables, and supports timely, compliant content review and approval. The Specialist works closely with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory stakeholders to manage workflows, support system operations, and assist with inspection readiness while driving efficient and consistent MI processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage content submissions, routing, version control, and approvals in Veeva
• Coordinate MRC schedules, agendas, meetings, and reviewer follow up
• Track MRC and MI timelines; identify and escalate risks or delays

The hiring range for this position in California is $129,300 to $173,300. How You'll Contribute:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable project manager to operate within one of our client ecosystems. Daily activities include project communications, scheduling, task lists for technicians, managing deliverables from engineering, CAD and Programming and overseeing the completion of projects. As the primary interface to the client, the project manager develops a strong long-term relationship. Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the successful planning and execution of projects for IT. The Project Manager will work closely with the operations, solutions delivery, infrastructure, innovation, governance and security teams, business partners, and vendors to define, develop, and execute deployment of their assigned projects. The Project Manager ensures that the deployment of projects to the production environment follows the project life cycle methodology and successfully meets the business goals.
Experience
- 3+ years' experience in project management focused on keeping the project on track, tracking phases, and organizing schedules
- Experience preferred in project management, business analysis
- Requires the use of sound business judgment in coordinating the requirements of the user group(s) for a project
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques required
- Good in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation required
- Knowledge of project management concepts and processes, requirements gathering, or business analysis
- Bachelor's degree is preferred in MIS, Technology or Business.
- Project Management Certification is preferred
