High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by one (1) year of experience relating to utility construction, maintenance, or repair; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Must possess a valid state driver's license. Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license and commercial driver's license certification with tanker and airbrake endorsements, or the ability to obtain one. Must have a minimum Class "C" SC Voluntary Wastewater Collection License. Must possess an Asbestos III Workers license from SC LLR. The employee is required to abide by all City of Clemson, State, and Federal Safety Laws.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all CDL regulations and Lazer's guidelines
  • Transport trailers to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state and industry regulations
  • Ensure proper handling of equipment and products for our customers in accordance with agreed services
  • Communicate and work effectively with dispatchers, customers, team members and/or third-party vendors working in the designated work location. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A
  • Proven experience as a class A CDL driver with a satisfactory MVR driving record.
  • Current DOT Physical and Medical Card Knowledge of applicable federal, state and industry truck driving rules and regulations on public roads and private properties (i.e. distribution centers, etc.)
  • Ability to handle long hours and adapt to various weather conditions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as getting in and out of the truck multiple times throughout your shift.

Build the Future of Manufacturing

We are seeking a hands-on Additive Manufacturing Lead to help drive innovation and production in advanced manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone passionate about metal additive manufacturing, process development, and cutting-edge technology.

You will play a key role in supporting Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) operations, helping produce complex components used in high-performance industries such as aerospace, defense, and advanced engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and support metal additive manufacturing systems, including LPBF printers (EOS, SLM, or similar)
  • Assist with machine setup, build preparation, monitoring, and post-processing operations
  • Work closely with engineering teams to optimize builds and improve manufacturing processes
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate process documentation, build reports, and production records
  • Assist with troubleshooting machine or build issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the additive manufacturing operation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing workspace

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or a related technical field OR equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in additive manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) systems
  • (EOS, SLM, or similar systems preferred)
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Understanding of GD&T principles
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Ability to follow structured processes and quality procedures
