ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE • You have 3+ years of retail experience • You have 2+ years management team supervision experience • You have been exposed to merchandising and retail visual concepts • You have coached and developed a team • You have strong leadership and organizational skills • You are a natural collaborator and are able to analyze reports, identify opportunities to take initiative in making merchandising and presentation adjustments • You have a College Degree in Business or a related degree • Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently • Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently • Climbing ladders – occasionally • Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours) • Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

  • APRNs, PAs, CRNAs and CNMs are required to be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and credentialed through the Medical Staff process.
  • CRNAs should be able to stand for long periods of time and wear lead as needed for fluoroscopy, X-Ray cases. Responsibilities
  • The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) implements accurate, safe, patient centric anesthetic care.
  • Understands physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations of surgical procedures, constantly monitors vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry during anesthesia according to ASA guidelines.
  • The CRNA ensures appropriate documentation within the accordance of hospital and regulatory requirements and protects information of all forms, whether computer-based, paper, film, voice, or other media from unauthorized access modification, destruction, or intentional or accidental disclosure.
  • The CRNA is expected to demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care.
  • The CRNA continuously engages in projects that maintain and advance professional competency.
Qualifications
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist Council on accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs.
  • Prefer clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line recommended, but none required.
  • APRNs, PAs, CRNAs and CNMs are required to be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and credentialed through the Medical Staff process.
  • CRNAs should be able to stand for long periods of time and wear lead as needed for fluoroscopy, X-Ray cases. CRNAs must have the ability to lift 25 pounds and reach above and below shoulder height. CRNA must be able to negotiate patient care environments and be able to move self/patients between anesthesia locations.
Licensure
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist AANA Certification,
  • State of CT RN and APRN License,
  • ACLS DEA Registration and State of CT Controlled Substance Registration

Position Summary:

Our skilled CT Technologists performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.  Our CT Technologists perform computed tomography (CT) procedures by selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce technically accurate cross sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Techs participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique and producing CT images. 



Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program

Licensure, Certification, Registration:

  • Connecticut state Radiographer license required. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience:

  • 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting preferred.

Job Summary

Supervisor of Behavioral Health works in coordination with interdisciplinary teams to organize, prepare, and deliver evidence based clinical services across the continuum of care for Adults and Child/Adolescents. Clinical services include individual, group and family therapy. Maintains ethical principles and professional standards of practice in adherence to the discipline’s professional code of ethics.

This is a key supporting member of the management team that oversees day-to-day program operations and is responsible for the supervision of assigned clinical care activities to monitor standard work and meet regulatory requirements.  Career growth opportunities. 

Key areas of responsibility: 

Unit and Personnel Management

  • Supervise all clinical care, including use of behavioral health interventions, emergency management and monitors compliance with requirements for treatment planning and transition planning.
  • Hires, trains, provides coaching and gives corrective action, delegates tasks to ensure productivity and educates staff.
  • Assesses staff performance and develops clinical team.
  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvement and plans to implement them in collaboration with Program Manager.
  • Provides clear goals and expectations for staff and holds them accountable. Sets and measures results with respect to established objectives.

Direct Patient Care

  • When required, conducts a comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment and establishes a care plan, as appropriate.
  • Provides direct patient care that may include: case management, care coordination, interdisciplinary collaboration for care transition needs, crisis intervention/safety planning, counseling, and emotional support to patients and families coping with illness, trauma, or end-of-life care, referral and discharge planning.

Clinical Excellence

  • Leads administrative and development activities including but not limited to: team meetings, clinical supervision of staff and staff education.
  • Provide field supervision to second year student interns


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling or marriage & family therapy required.
  • Current Connecticut license; LCSW, LPC, or LMFT required.
  • 1 year of management experience in a healthcare related setting required. 
  • 2 years of experience as a licensed Clinician required.
  • Previous experience in clinical setting with Adults or Children/Adolescents populations
  • Computer proficient
  • Ability to assess problems, determine solutions and make decisions within a timely manner
  • Utilize supervision and team approaches in the context of patient assessment and clinical interventions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships within and outside their entity
  • Focused on personal, patient/client and unit/staff safety
