Responsibilities Include:
Our client is seeking an in-house counsel to support the company’s legal needs and report to the CLO. This role will provide legal support across litigation, compliance, contracts, HR, privacy, and risk management. Specifically, this role will support:
- Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements. This includes healthcare agreements such as sales, GPO, physician agreements and procurement, marketing, tech/SaaS agreements
- Litigation & Claims: Conduct intake and initial investigation, coordinate discovery, monitor new litigation and notify brokers of new claims, review insurance coverage related to litigation, and manage outside counsel
- Risk & Compliance: Support organizational compliance, partner with internal teams to proactively manage risk, manage quality management plans for incident and claim root cause analysis, and proactively manage risk in negotiations
- Privacy: HIPAA/PHI compliance (proactive + incident response), records releases, and BAAs.
- Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance tasks as assigned.
- Labor & Employment: HR policy support, investigations, separations, and HR‑related claims/litigation.
- Provide Enterprise Training: Provide HIPAA, compliance/ethics (Fraud and Abuse, Stark, False Claims Acts), and HR/labor & employment
- Intellectual Property & Media: Support IP portfolio management, assist with maintaining IP rights, ensure proper use across media and marketing, and manage media and marketing‑related risk.
- Manage Insurance Portfolio: Assist with insurance renewals, data collection, deductible tracking, and broker relationships; support management of insurance portfolio risk and coverage
Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- J.D. and active license to practice law

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, interior design, or a related field.

Essential Job Functions

SUMMARY
Directs and coordinates activities of production departments in processing materials or manufacturing products by performing the following duties personally or though subordinate supervisors.

Job Description
Statement of Purpose
The Behavioral Health Technician fulfills the assigned role as a part of the treatment team, maintaining the well-being of clients and integrity of the program. Provides client supervision and staff/unit support as assigned.
Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes admission procedures on new clients including tech paperwork, room assignments, and initial orientation.
- Conducts property searches of clients as required by program standards.
- Performs urine drug screen testing of clients as required.
- Performs medication call supervision as required.
- Provides transportation services including patient transportation, donation pick-ups, agency errands, etc.
- Attending in-service training and educational workshops.
- Attending all required staff meetings.
- Knowledge of mental health, drug and alcohol abuse, family systems and various recovery resources in the community such as Smart Recovery and others.
- Develop and maintain individualized records of client progress (shift notes) and participation in treatment including admission and discharge, individual sessions, group facilitation, family, vocational (both individual and group) literacy training and other occasions as appropriate. The technician will not be doing any treatment planning or counseling services unless registered to do so. The tech will have restricted EHR access.
- Ability to write clear (and concise) statements, summarizing client’s feelings, expressions, resistance and response to their treatment plan, goals, and objectives. Includes letters to referral agencies, courts/probation.
- Ability to confront behavioral changes, identify a crisis, and recognize when additional assistance is necessary.
- Ability to recognize personal recovery issues that impact job performance and client interactions.
- Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality.

About the Role
Record the medical history and provide physical exams and follow-up care according to treatment plan and medical protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual patient instruction in accordance to prescribed treatment plan and medical protocols.
- Prescribe appropriate medications to patients as needed according to medical protocols and standard medical practice.
- Provide medical services, within scope of practice as determined by licensure and/or certification.
- Provide additional medical services, as determined by Chief Medical Officer, within your scope of practice, such as Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) or Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).
- Accurately complete all necessary charting according to clinic protocols and mandated by funding source guidelines and standard medical practice.
- Identify physical, nutritional and/or lifestyle problems and refers to appropriate on-site and off-site resources.
- Identify psychosocial and emotional problems/issues and refers to on-site or off-site resources.
- Must be in compliance with all clinical and administrative quality measures such as, HEDIS metrics and patient productivity.
- Consult with supervising/collaborating physician for patient evaluation as needed.
- Perform timely documentation/action within Electronic Health Record (EHR) including but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment plan, orders, medications, etc.
- Take timely action on pending EHR PAQ items.
- Issue timely responses to E-Consult specialist reviewers.
- Able to provide medical services on telehealth platform provided by EVCHC.
- Adhere to Quality Improvement guidelines and participates in Quality Improvement programs for chronic diseases.
- Work closely with Registered Dieticians/Health Educators in order to provide appropriate education to patients.
- Participate in monthly Provider Meetings as required.
- Serve as a preceptor instructor to Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or medical students as assigned.
- Attend conferences and seminars when requested and will comply with continuing education requirements.
- Participate in provider recruitment activities.
- Participate in activities that foster the development of clinical support team members.
Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Provider training program.
- Current license in the State of California as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
- Current DEA certification.
- Current Board Certification from accredited organization for the certification of Advanced Practice Providers.
- Current CPR certifications.
- Must relate well to all cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic groups within the East Valley service area.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, and bend in order to speak to patients.
- Ability to write notes, treatment plan comments, track records and reports.
- Ability to work productively in a small office space used by multiple employees.
- Ability to work with personal computer for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate, in a positive manner, with all levels of staff.

Job Summary:
Creates an environment where front line nurses and ancillary staff provide whole person care that is safe, complication free, and optimizes functional independence for each patient. Maintains a highly-visible presence on the unit. Collaborates closely with staff, charge nurses, physicians, and other department leaders to ensure that clinical operations are efficient and effective, and achieve high patient/family/staff satisfaction. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.Schedules, leads, and coordinates the daily activities of a defined unit on an assigned shift. Assists leadership in accomplishing unit and organizational goals.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' technical experience: Preferred
- One year's leadership experience: Preferred
- Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Preferred
- National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration: Preferred

Essential Functions:
- Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled professional staff. Builds a strong infrastructure with designated charge nurses and unit champions. Engages staff in developing action plans for needed change to create safe, desired outcomes. Completes periodic evaluations of personnel supervised. Coaches and disciplines personnel when deems appropriate. Monitors attendance. Works closely with staff, unit champions, and the clinical educator to identify and meet educational needs. Uses consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.
- Sets and strives to achieve goals for patient safety, quality of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Creates a culture of open communication. Develops strategies to improve patient/family, and physician satisfaction. Establishes standards of care for professional nursing practice that staff are held accountable to. Monitors critical processes and outcomes of care through audits, analysis of data, and complaints or incident reports. Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance, evaluating and comparing possible courses-of-action, and making decisions/recommendations after considering the various possibilities.
- Conducts daily rounds with physicians and other staff and actively communicates, as needed, to coordinate appropriate care for patients and families. Directs/monitors personnel in the performance of patient care activities in order to ensure adequate patient care and quality of work. Investigates and resolves patient care and operational issues, as needed. Initiates and coordinates individual and team conferences with health team members, patients, and/or families to initiate and revise care plans for optimal, individualized patient care as per care setting.
- Assesses the personnel requirements of the unit on a daily basis and requests additional personnel when determines they are necessary. Authorizes and assigns overtime to personnel when independently determines this to be appropriate. Completes monthly unit staff schedule on time, accurately, and in collaboration with staff members and management with minimal incidents of absence or unbalanced/short staffing events.
- Facilitates throughput through early discharge of patients, pull-ahead beds, and timely admission/transfer of patients and forecasting admission. Works with facility services to assure that the department and equipment is maintained to be safe and operational. Prevents complications of care including nosocomial infections. Conducts emergency preparedness reviews.
