We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join our tight-knit, fast-growing team. The ideal candidate is precise, consistent, and capable of completing multiple tasks at a time. You will be involved in the preparation of all phases of the preconstruction process from conceptual through construction documents.
This position will support the sales & management team by delivering first class client service, renovations, and new construction for projects in the public/private commercial, institutional, historical, multi-family, historical, healthcare and residential sectors, which range in size from $500k to $50 million+.
Responsibilities
- Build a comprehensive understanding of project strategy and deploy this knowledge throughout the Estimating process.
- Lead team to milestones to ensure the knowledge of the project and its requirements are current.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site tours to be fully versed on how the site will affect subcontractor pricing. This includes working with Operations to include a site logistics plan.
- Review project plans and specifications.
- Manage the subcontractor bid management process; establish the proper subcontractor list; manage subcontractor coverage; manage information flow; and coverage maintenance throughout the life cycle of an estimate.
- Ensure adequate market coverage by maintaining a current knowledge of where the coverage stands.
- Develop thorough scopes of work that cover all aspects of a project, and ensures subcontractors comply with the scope produced.
- Review and analyze bids for conformance to project specifications, price, and related items. Discuss and resolve any questions with subcontractor prior to submission of final estimate.
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs.
- Determine labor, material, and equipment costs.
- Attend client meetings to discuss estimates, answer questions, and resolve issues regarding pricing and estimates.
- Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team.
- Develop initial procurement logs to ensure projected schedule can be achieved.
- Perform purchasing of subcontractor and vendors in a timely manner.
- Support the field, as required, by assisting in drawing review, scope review and preparation of change requests.
- Prepares multiple budgets for all phases (i.e., conceptual, schematic, design/development, final phase), and provide thorough reconciliation for client and internal review.
- Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.
- Conduct cost analysis at completion of project.
- Prequalify subcontractors to limit risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction related field, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or field experience
- A minimum of 5-7 years construction experience inclusive of 3 years of estimating projects with a commercial general contracting company. Field experience a plus
- Strong Estimating skills and experienced in estimating self-perform carpentry trades
- Management Experience including delegating, coaching, mentorship, and providing timely feedback
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and means & methods.
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts subcontractor base.
- Successful candidate must possess a high degree of self-motivation, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail; work in a team environment and be able to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with Onscreen Takeoff and Database Estimating software similar to Sage is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
Medical Operations & Compliance

Pharmacy & Cost Management
- Collaborate with the Chief Pharmacy Officer in developing policies and strategies for the cost-effective delivery of pharmacy benefits.
- Oversee medication management initiatives to improve prescription drug therapy and cost efficiency.
Stakeholder & External Relations
- Participate as the USFHP, Brighton Marine, physician representative in all national forums and workgroups related to medical and quality management for the US Family Health Plan.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, payers, and government agencies.
- Represent BMI in professional and regulatory forums.

Description
We are seeking a passionate PhD-level synthetic chemist to drive the discovery of small molecules for next-generation 3D printing resins. This position involves rapid exploration of chemical space through organic synthesis to develop photochemical and photophysical structure-property relationships. This role will be particularly appealing to chemists with a passion for both synthetic and physical organic chemistry. Our process uses a small amount of each lead candidate, so synthetic creativity is not limited by the scalability concerns that usually narrow the available chemical space in materials applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot small molecule synthetic routes, with a focus on divergent or modular approaches to rapidly generate lead candidates.
- Characterize lead candidates via UPLC, NMR, UV/Vis and IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
- Contribute to the development of high-throughput analytical capabilities, small molecule databases, and virtual libraries.
- Work with cross-functional teammates to explore photochemical and photophysical structure–property relationships that drive 3D printing performance.
- Mentor junior scientists.
- Maintain excellent electronic lab notebook documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Organic Chemistry or BS in Chemistry and 5+ years of experience in a small molecule discovery role.
- Strong expertise in both synthetic and physical organic chemistry, demonstrated through publications and other activities.
- Significant experience designing and executing multi-step synthetic routes.
- Extensive experience with modern computing and data analysis tools relevant to synthetic chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee production and execution of food preparation for outlets.
- Organize, oversee, and participate in the plating of food for service, according to established plating and presentation criteria.

- Assist in controlling costs by effective purchasing of food and maintaining food cost goals as well as monitoring labor levels.

Qualifications:
- Experience with menu development, costing, and BEO distribution. Advanced knowledge of culinary technique and application.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands as related to a banquet kitchen, minimum 2 years of Banquet Kitchen experience.
- Degree in Culinary Arts preferred, 2 to 4 years’ experience in a 4-5 star hotel or independent restaurant in a kitchen management role.
- Abides by local and national food safety requirements and ensures that others do so by monitoring FIFO inventory and visually inspecting food preparation, delivery activities, and overall cleanliness of the operation.
- ServSafe certification.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Salary Range:

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced IP Patent Specialist to support its Intellectual Property team in Boston or Washington DC. This role focuses on U.S. and international patent prosecution and offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of attorneys and IP professionals across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
Patent Prosecution
- Manage and maintain patent prosecution dockets for both domestic and international matters, ensuring all statutory and non-statutory deadlines are met
- Prepare and file USPTO and PCT documents, including provisional and non-provisional applications, national stage filings, amendments, responses, declarations, statements of use, and issue fee payments
- Coordinate global prosecution activity with attorneys, patent agents, and foreign associates
- Prepare formal documents such as declarations, assignments, and powers of attorney
- Manage Information Disclosure Statements and maintain prior art tracking documents
- Coordinate sequence listings and drawings with external vendors
- Review issued patents for accuracy and support responses to USPTO notices and office actions
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain tracking documentation for global patent portfolios, including priority and related applications
- Review and submit IP-related invoices and USPTO deposit account fees
- Support client billing processes including estimates, budget tracking, and invoice queries
- Work closely with the billing team to apply fixed-fee patent prosecution schedules
- Assist with internal initiatives to improve IP team processes and workflows
About You
- 5+ years of patent prosecution support experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of USPTO and PCT filing procedures
- Experience managing patent dockets and coordinating international filings
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with biotechnology or pharmaceutical patent portfolios is highly desirable
- Billing or e-billing experience is a plus
