About the Role:
A Chemtek is seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to support the testing, characterization, and documentation of analytical reference materials. This role will play an important part in maintaining product quality and supporting our quality systems.
The Analytical Chemist will be responsible for performing analytical testing to verify the identity, purity, and quality of reference materials using multiple analytical techniques. The role will also support method development, product documentation, and continuous improvement of laboratory procedures.
This position is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of analytical laboratory experience, particularly in LC-MS and analytical method development, who enjoys working in a collaborative and quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytical Testing
· Perform testing on wide range of organic standards using techniques to verify compound identity, purity, and concentrations
· Utilize analytical instrumentation including LC-MS, GC-MS, NMR, and HPLC/UHPLC
· Determine compound purity using HPLC/UHPLC, GC-MS, and quantitative NMR (qNMR)
· Apply analytical techniques for water content determination (Karl Fischer), elemental analysis (CHN), concentration verification, and residual solvent analysis
· Conduct stability and homogeneity testing to support product release and shelf-life determination
Product Documentation
· Develop, revise, and maintain laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with ISO17025 and ISO17034 quality systems
· Maintain accurate records of analytical testing to ensure data integrity and product traceability
Quality System Documentation
· Develop, revise, and maintain laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following ISO17034/17025 standards
· Prepare and maintain controlled laboratory documentation.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field
- 2-4 years' experience working in an analytical/testing lab environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Work in-person in a laboratory environment in Woburn, MA
- Hands-on experience with LC-MS or other mass spectrometry techniques strongly preferred

MDS PC puts an emphasis on quality and customer service first. Another crucial focus is treating in place when possible and reducing unnecessary hospitalizations.
MDS PC is experienced in providing medical services in an SNF setting with an understanding of how to give effective medical care in an SNF as well as an understanding of the survey process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provides pre and post sales technical support and expertise on all LEDVANCE products and services via phone and email to the LEDVANCE sales team, sales agents, and directly to the customer.

The Role:
The Quality Engineer I / II will support Quality Assurance activities for Vaxess’ combination product programs, with a strong focus on medical device design controls, risk management, and cGMP compliance. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality Control, and Material Management to support compliant execution and ensure product quality and safety during early clinical development.
Responsibilities:
- Support quality oversight of Vaxess combination product(s) to ensure compliance with safety, efficacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Administer and support the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR Part 4 (Combination Products), and applicable FDA and international regulations.
- Provide quality support for Design Control activities, including Design History File (DHF) maintenance, design reviews, Design Verification and Validation (DVV), and design changes.
- Support risk management activities, including development and maintenance of risk analyses (e.g., FMEA, hazard analyses) and linkage to design and process controls.
- Support process validation and qualification activities, including test method validation (TMV), process validation (PV), and equipment qualification, as applicable to Phase I and GMP-ready manufacturing.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including nonconformance assessment, disposition, and documentation.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QMS, including CAPA, deviation investigations, and quality metrics.
Qualifications:
- Quality Engineer I: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within a cGMP-regulated medical device or combination product environment.
- Quality Engineer II: Typically 4–5 years of progressive quality experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biologics, or combination products.
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA medical device Quality System Regulations (21 CFR 820); familiarity with combination product requirements strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting early-phase (preclinical to Phase I) product development is highly desirable.
- Experience with design controls, risk management (FMEA), and validation activities preferred.

Essential Job Functions: Acquisition and Program Support: Provide program-level acquisition support to Program Managers and Integrated Product Team Leads, guiding program execution to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
Ensure adherence to DoD directives and policies, including DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.80, and DoDI 5000.81.
Contract Execution and Oversight: Support contract execution through expert analysis and solutions, including reviewing acquisition documents, milestone decision briefings, and risk management plans.
Prepare inputs for RFPs such as system specifications, SOWs, and CDRLs.
Program Health Analysis: Evaluate program health, advise leadership on options to maintain objectives, and assist in planning acquisition strategies that align with DoD and Air Force policies.
Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain acquisition reports (e.g., MAR, DAES, APB), prepare briefings, and ensure consistency across program deliverables.
Utilize tools such as CCaR, IDECS, and EDA.
Risk Management: Develop, maintain, and execute program risk management plans, facilitating risk identification, analysis, and mitigation while coordinating program risk boards and working groups.
Source Selection and Contract Administration: Assist in developing source selection strategies, evaluation criteria, and RFP documentation.
Provide recommendations for incentive clauses and evaluate contractor proposals.
Mission Planning and Operational Support: Oversee Mission Planning Environment (MPE) systems to ensure they meet operational and testing requirements.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align MPE capabilities with operational flight program schedules.
Lifecycle Logistics and Sustainment: Provide critical support for lifecycle logistics, operational planning, and sustainment strategies, ensuring mission readiness and effective system integration.
Policy and Process Improvement: Monitor DoD acquisition reforms and advise leadership on process improvements, cost avoidance strategies, and policy interpretations.
Ensure compliance with updated regulations and directives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with division branch chiefs, program managers, and contractors to provide expert guidance, streamline integration, and address programmatic issues affecting overall performance.

Bachelor’s degree in a professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program, and minimum of 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs.

What You Will Do
In this role, you will collaborate across disciplines and partner with Scrum teams to implement solutions, gaining exposure to every aspect of the system while directly contributing to its success. Key responsibilities include:
Leading system-level operations center sustainment, execution, and reporting.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues to maintain site operations and ensure system reliability.
Developing and upgrading platform capabilities, including operating systems, networking, and cybersecurity components.
Interfacing with and reporting to U.S. Government customers and Program Leadership on system development and operational status.

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with IT, networking, and/or system administration, including: Command and Control (C2) system hardware (e.g., servers, switches, routers), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Virtual Machines/Containers, SQL databases, Active Directory (Windows/Linux), and/or VMware systems.
