Currently, The Fordy Group is seeking a Construction Professional to join our team as a Preconstruction Project Executive (Senior Level Estimator) to lead our team to excellence!
We are looking for someone that is looking to lead, grow, advance, including interest in for management and development of people in addition to managing projects.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, quantitative surveys, life cycle cost analysis studies and value engineering studies of mechanical/plumbing/electrical systems for institutional, commercial and/or industrial related facilities
- Assisting other team members with preparing civil, architectural and/or structural preconstruction related services, as required
- Assisting in developing the CPM project schedule
- Preparing written scopes of work, detailed plan and specification reviews
- Conducting field inspections and coordination of project delivery
Qualifications for this position include:
- 8-10 years in a lead estimating/preconstruction role
- A B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred; however a BS degree in a construction related field is required (civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, etc.)
- A working knowledge of Estimating Software is preferred
- Previous experience in estimating/project management is preferred
- Experience in preparing detailed energy modeling studies is preferred L
- EED Accredited Professional is preferred
- Primavera software scheduling experience is a plus
- Thorough working knowledge of MS Office software including MS Word, MS Excel is required

Reporting to the VP of Estimating, the Schedule Development Manager oversees the development of detailed project schedules for all Faulconer Construction areas. The Schedule Development Manager will provide high-quality project schedules that exceed industry standards. This position will be responsible for guiding scheduling construction sequencing, developing, and delivering training, and supervising critical path analysis. The Schedule Development Manager will coordinate between Operations, Field Leadership, the Shop, and others to support the scheduling needs. The Schedule Development Manager will always maintain Faulconer Core Values.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of detailed project schedules along with the project teams’ input for all work in progress
- Collect progress information for updating and reporting project status
- Performing impact analysis for potential delays and changes
- Utilizing schedule baselining to maintain “as-built” project schedules
- Develop bid proposal schedules
- Ensure scheduling consistency between all Faulconer area offices
- Oversee and provide training to enhance company scheduling capabilities in P6- desktop and mobile, as well as 4-week look ahead schedules
- Participate in the following Project Meetings: Preconstruction Handoff, Kickoff, Exit Strategy, Post Project Review, and Bi-Weekly PM Meetings
- Work to improve project revenue forecasting through P6
- Learn and implement relevant lean construction principles
- Participate in the reporting of Company Equipment Backlog via P6
Travel Expectations: Up to 25% of time outside the home office, traveling to other area offices and project locations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of direct work experience in a construction management capacity, including all aspects of project execution.
- Experience with P6 (or equivalent scheduling software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

3rd Shift Electronics / PLC Specialist
Our client is a global leader in beverage packaging, operating high‑speed, highly automated manufacturing facilities. The 3rd Shift Electronics/PLC Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement of plant automation systems. This position supports production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading PLCs, HMIs, motion systems, sensors, and electrical controls across can‑making and end‑making equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize PLC‑based control systems (Allen‑Bradley/Rockwell).
- Maintain and modify HMI interfaces, servo drives, VFDs, and industrial communication networks.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with sensors, instrumentation, robotics, and machine control logic.
- Perform root‑cause analysis on recurring automation faults to reduce downtime.
- Execute scheduled PMs on electrical and electronic systems to ensure equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of PLC programs, electrical schematics, and control logic changes.

Work Environment
This job operates in both an office environment and on work/job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as protective eyewear, safety vests, hard hats and appropriate footwear.

The Maintenance Electrician works closely with maintenance and production teams to diagnose electrical issues, support preventive maintenance programs, and ensure proper operation of motors, controls, and automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems on production equipment, conveyors, motors, pumps, and automated machinery.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and control systems throughout the manufacturing complex.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
