Nature & Scope
Reporting to the Polymer and Compounding Manager, this position is responsible for leading compound development projects and is accountable for communication and delivery of results to the broader Technology team. The R&D Materials Senior Engineer will apply a systematic and designed experimental approach to develop new polymeric compounds and evaluate changes in material performance prior to commercial scale-up in our manufacturing plants.
Specific Job Duties
- Leads or supports cross-functional project teams in production-scale compounding and prototype processing trials within the applicable Prysmian manufacturing facility associated with compound development projects.
- Drives cost reduction and enhanced performance compound development from bench scale to commercialization.
- Investigates and applies new polymer and additive technologies from a variety of suppliers.
- Leverages polymers and materials experience to identify and execute projects which improve compound/cable Sustainability and carbon footprint.
- Works to tight deadlines as well as contributing to longer term R&D projects.

The Clinical Project Manager will play a critical role in leading and supporting Clinical Information Systems (Clinical IS) initiatives across a large healthcare organization. This role focuses heavily on clinical applications and Epic-integrated projects, managing efforts from initiation through go-live and stabilization.
This position also supports clinical growth and infrastructure initiatives, requiring experience aligning clinical operations, facility readiness, and technology deployment.

Role Description – Process EngineerWe are seeking a Process Engineer to lead long‑term process improvements across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Technical Service, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to strengthen safety, quality, productivity, and delivery. You’ll also play a key part in introducing next‑generation technologies—including AI‑based analytics, predictive tools, and advanced automation—to drive smarter, more efficient operations.
Responsibilities- Lead continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot process and quality issues and drive corrective actions.
- Develop SOPs, process controls, and apply SPC and advanced data analytics.
- Support product and process development, including trials and scale‑ups.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, QA, Engineering, and Production teams.
- Train production staff and promote safe operating practices.
- Recommend and support adoption of modern manufacturing technologies (AI, predictive maintenance, automation).
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare technical reports.
- Support customer trials and provide technical expertise to internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
- Experience with polymers, foams, adhesives, plastics, or chemical processes preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; SPC experience strongly valued.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and DOE (certification a plus).
- Interest in Industry 4.0 and emerging manufacturing technologies.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe manufacturing practices.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
