Job Overview

As shift supervisor you are responsible for the Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery [SQCD] goals and targets within your direct area of responsibility. Through demonstrating the ability to lead, coach, and mentor of all your direct reports to achieve a high performing and competent team.

Major Responsibilities

  • Acts as a coach to lead all responsible direct reports assigned to the shift which includes but is not limited to coordinating day-to-day activities, future planning, and project work.
  • Determines and manages appropriate labor requirements in conjunction with the Team Leaders.
  • Ensures all required trainings for self and organization are documented and complete per the proper standard.
  • Ensures flexibility of own organization through proper cross-training and updating of the area skill matrix documentation.
  • Ensures Working according to Standards for self and organization including regular scheduled process confirmation.
  • Ensures Operational Excellence through tracking of daily performance indicators (eg. [SQCD] Output, Scrap, Man hours, etc.)
  • Strives to improve performance through utilization of proper Bosch Production Systems [BPS] tools (eg. PSS, A3, 5S, etc.)
  • Administers and ensures compliance with the Quality and Material Management System requirements as outlined in the policy manuals.
  • Participates in Plant System CIP cycles and leads own improvement projects.
  • Ensures all Company policies, procedures, plant standards, and safety rules are consistently adhered to.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources Business Partner and Leadership in the administration of disciplinary action, when necessary.
  • Ensures the thoroughness and timely completion of scheduled performance reviews for their direct reports.
  • Monitors, maintains, and accurately records employees’ time related to the Attendance and Time-Off Policies (e.g., vacation, PAA, FMLA, bereavement, jury duty, etc.) including all required supporting documentation within the established time frame.

  • Ensures the safety of all associates within the organization through displaying a consistent positive attitude toward safety.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or 3-5 years of progressive operations or logistics leadership.

What you will be doing as a Commercial Tire Technician:


For tires (functions performed per TIA Commercial guidelines):

  • Remove, install, rotate, balance, and perform flat repairs on commercial and large equipment tires (in shop or at customer location)
  • Safely separate and reassemble tires onto wheels, using specialized equipment
  • Inspect casings for defects
  • Locate and seal tire punctures (patch and plug)
  • Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding or sandblasting

For retreads:

  • Prepare retreads (discuss tread with customer, prepare work order, put in staging area, load on truck)
  • Unload retreads (unload from truck and stack in warehouse area)

For vehicles:

  • Perform fleet inspections to assess tire needs and make recommendation to fleets as needed

Equipment:

  • Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks
  • Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to: safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility of an Account Executive is to build a book of business through:
  • Prospecting and establishing referral partner relationships with professionals from the real estate and mortgage industry.
  • Work with clients to understand their insurance needs, analyze options with a large carrier portfolio, and provide a custom solution to mitigate household risk.


Compensation Summary

The Account Executive position has a first-year average on-target earnings of $90,000. Our compensation package consists of a base salary plus uncapped variable commissions, and a one-time conditional sign-on bonus.


Licensing, Training, and Position Requirements:

  • Goosehead will cover one-time costs of all training courses and exam fees to obtain your insurance license
  • This role is contingent on you passing your licensing exam, obtaining the state issued license, and successfully completing the Goosehead training program, which will commence on your start date
  • Account Executives are equipped with extensive training in , sales process management, business development and more, no previous experience is required.
  • Professional development opportunities from the Account Executive role include, but are not limited to, corporate leadership, flexibility with a proven track record, and an apprenticeship program leading to business ownership.

Summary/Objective

  • The Inside Sales Representative performs a variety of sales, customer service, project and office management for assigned locations. The Inside Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Operations and Executive Assistant.

Required Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED, college preferred
  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, employee and project management.

Essential Functions

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Obtain monthly revenue targets for assigned locations.
  • Business Development - Maintains existing relationships and develops new business relationships with local healthcare providers, tradesmen, realtors, property managers, etc. via outbound calls. Expect 6+ hours on the phone each day.
  • Answer phones, answer customer questions, direct calls to appropriate individuals, and prepare messages.
  • Create and update records within company systems (i.e. NetSuite, Encircle, Dropbox, etc.) ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
  • Schedule and plan client appointments.
  • Prepares contracts, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments.
  • Monitor level of supplies and order supplies as needed.
  • Organize travel by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Heavy phone work required, expect 6+ hours on the phone each day with a minimum of 60 outbound calls per day.


Competencies / Proficiencies

  • Experience in inside sales
  • Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems (ERP/CRM software)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment including phone and software systems
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedure
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
