Job Summary
The Director of Revenue Management directs all UCSF Health revenue integrity strategy and initiatives across hospital and professional billing environments. The Director oversees the Revenue Integrity (RI) team and has enterprise responsibility for Charge Description Master (CDM) governance, pricing, accurate and compliant charge capture, documentation alignment, revenue monitoring, and proactive identification and mitigation of denial risk.
Responsibilities include the structure and maintenance of the CDM and professional fee schedules; development, implementation, and oversight of policies and processes related to compliant charging and coding practices; pricing strategy, analysis, and modeling; and proactive monitoring of gross revenue performance and revenue risk.
The Director collaborates extensively with clinical departments, Health Information Management, Patient Financial Services, Compliance, Internal Audit, Health Plan Strategy, Finance, and Information Technology teams to ensure revenue integrity requirements are embedded into operational and technical workflows. This includes partnership with IT and Epic application teams to optimize system design, automation, testing, and validation of charge capture and billing workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safeguarding of revenue.
The Director interacts with executives, other directors, internal and external auditors, compliance leadership, operational leaders, physicians and their staff, and UC system counterparts. External contacts include state and federal agencies, regulatory bodies, vendors, and external auditors.
The Director contributes to short- and long-range planning for revenue cycle strategies, processes, tools, and systems; establishes departmental goals, budgets, and staffing plans; and develops policies that affect revenue integrity and revenue cycle functions across UCSF Health. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve objectives may result in significant financial loss, compliance risk, or operational disruption.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $144,200 - $350,000 (Annual Rate).

The department is responsible for ensuring compliant, accurate, and defensible revenue practices through oversight of charge capture, documentation alignment, coding integration, pricing governance, and Charge Description Master (CDM) and professional fee schedule management.
The department partners closely with clinical leadership, Finance, Compliance, Health Information Management, Patient Financial Services, and Information Technology to embed revenue integrity requirements into operational and technical workflows. This includes supporting system design, automation, analytics, and controls to safeguard revenue, reduce variability, mitigate compliance risk, and support transparent and sustainable reimbursement practices. The Revenue Management Department serves as a strategic liaison between operational and technical teams and plays a critical role in enterprise revenue performance, regulatory readiness, and system-wide initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as, Business, Management, or Health Administration; or equivalent experience
- Ten (10) years of experience in hospital and professional revenue cycle leadership, charge description master maintenance, clinical charge capture, coding, government/third-party reimbursement, or similar healthcare experience
- Possession of 1 or more of the following certifications:
- CPAM – Certified Professional in Ambulatory Management (MGMA)
- CHRI – Certified Healthcare Revenue Integrity (AAPC)
- CHC – Certified in Healthcare Compliance (HCCA)
- CPC – Certified Professional Coder (AAPC)
- CCS – Certified Coding Specialist (AHIMA)
- Experience in managing and/or developing charge description master, fee schedules, and charge capture processes, policies, and/or procedures
- Practical experience using hospital information systems, Epic preferred, and computer proficiency with PC applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Practical experience and knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS), and Revenue codes
- In-depth knowledge of overall revenue cycle processes, specifically revenue integrity, including industry trends
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferable within a medical facility or health system
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, requirements, standards and practices pertaining to patient confidentiality and information management
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated professional interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
- Detail-oriented, good organizational skills, and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to present to and interact with all levels of hospital management and physician leaders

The Role
As a Program Ambassador, Enterprise Services, you will act as the strategic advisor and relationship lead for a Global 500 partner’s Direct Source program. The Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California (WCIRB) is California's trusted, objective provider of actuarially based information and research, advisory pure premium rates, and educational services integral to a healthy workers' compensation system. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Actuarial Analyst who is energized by complex analytical challenges, cross‐functional collaboration and the chance to influence methodologies used statewide. This role is central to the WCIRB's actuarial functions and offers meaningful opportunities for independence, visibility and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Leads the analysis and evaluation of statistical data pertaining to pure premium rates; identifies trends or cost drivers; prepares materials for committees or rate filings to evaluate impact of various cost drivers on pure premium rates.
- Leads actuarial analyses of aggregate data and ratemaking methodologies; recommends adjustments to actuarial ratemaking methodologies to the Vice President, Actuary and Chief Actuary; periodically validates appropriateness of methodologies.
- Provides key deliverables and correspondence with WCIRB members and other customers, such as the insurance department and governmental agencies, on complex data and other technical issues, with minimal or no supervision.
- Represents the Actuarial department and provides subject matter expertise on actuarial data and data collection processes to representatives of other units of the WCIRB on various cross‐functional projects and issues.
- Prepares, reviews, and analyzes various studies of aggregate and classification experience for rate filings and other reports produced by Actuarial Services including those presented to WCIRB Committees and Working Groups.
- Leads the Actuarial team's efforts in collaboration with the IT department on the development and changes to applications used by the Actuarial team and customers to submit, retrieve, and/or analyze data.
- Supervises the development and maintenance of data products and oversees the fulfillment of data requirements pursuant to statutory and regulatory mandates.
- Performs peer reviews of analysts' work.
- Supervises actuarial analysts in various aspects of analyses; oversees progress of projects and guides projects to completion in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Educational background (Bachelor's degree or above) in a technical field such as mathematics, actuarial science, applied statistics, or economics.
- Five years of experience as an actuarial analyst in a property/casualty insurance company, rating organization, consulting firm, or a state insurance department.

The Access Management Specialist role is responsible for processing security and access permissions for various individuals requiring building access. They also serve as a customer service representative, assisting with access control requests and troubleshooting badge-related issues. SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and performing the repair and preventative maintenance of all industrial tools and tool sets in the wafer fab, including assisting with tool selection, qualification, and optimization on an assigned shift; analyzing various types of data and preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports; and reviewing and modifying Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) to ensure data remains current. This position is located in Milpitas, California.
*Must be willing to train on F shift (Friday thru Sunday and every other Thursday from 12:00 PM-12:00 AM) for a minimum of two months before moving to assigned shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The annual base salary for this full-time position is between $120,819.00-$177,675.00 + bonus target + benefits. WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor works in an indoor environment on a rotating schedule on D shift which is Friday thru Sunday and every other Thursday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility; wears a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask.
