Civic EngagementResponsibilities include organizing meetings with local elected officials to discuss issues affecting the Muslim community, assisting with voter registration campaigns, and acting as a liaison between CAIR and public officials. An interest in political science is desirable.
CommunicationsResponsibilities include informing the media about Islamic activities and practices, monitoring the local media, writing editorials, and assisting in issuing the CAIR-California newsletter. Interns will develop their skills for writing in a journalistic style. Interns will also learn how to effectively engage the community through social media and be responsible for creating posts, updates, tweets, and more to promote and enhance CAIR-SFBA's image through said mediums. They will also learn how the media works and how to develop press releases and media packets. An interest in media and communications is desirable.
Event Planning/OutreachResponsibilities include organizing events sponsored by CAIR (such as the Muslim Day at the Capitol), proposing and creating new material to promote CAIR, preparing an exhibit, and helping with inquiries from members and guests. Other responsibilities may include acting as a liaison between CAIR and the local Muslim and non-Muslim communities, organizing outreach programs with Islamic centers, and developing and implementing strategies to attract individuals to become involved with CAIR. An interest in marketing, public relations, and graphic design is desirable.
OperationsResponsibilities include working closely with the Operations Manager to maintain office productivity. Interns will assist with daily operations, such as coordination of staff meetings, trainings, and activities; greeting guests and interacting with patrons; and assisting with office organization projects. The internship also includes a membership component with responsibilities such as donor and community outreach, development of membership programs, and more.
Youth DevelopmentResponsibilities include implementing CAIR's youth programming, which engages high school and college students around issues of identity, leadership development, civil rights, civic engagement, and social justice. Programs include:

- Muslim Gamechangers Network
- Bridging Communities Program
- Muslim Day at the Capitol
Interns will research a wide range of issues affecting the Muslim community to develop relevant and engaging curriculum and program content. Interns will work on all aspects of program planning, including, but not limited to, marketing, outreach and recruitment, program execution, and evaluation.
Qualifications- Candidates must be college students pursuing a bachelor's degree or an advanced degree, or recent graduates (17 and older)

Internships typically last from 10-12 weeks, depending on the student's academic calendar. Hours for an academic term clerkship are 15 hours per week for a Fall or Spring clerkship and 20 hours for a Summer clerkship. CAIR-SFBA currently operates a hybrid schedule and requires interns to work in-office a minimum of two days per week.

The Senior Corporate Accounting Manager is a high impact high visibility leadership role in our Finance and Accounting organization. This role requires strong project management skills and great attention to detail. They will partner with the broader business both inside Finance as well as across multiple corporate departments, collaborating with Legal, HR, Operations, IT, Sales, to collect and incorporate new information on a regular basis to lead the monthly GL close and financial reporting processes. Global Close & Financial Reporting
· Lead general ledger close processes for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close

· Draft technical accounting whitepapers to support the basis for unique transactions including M&A, special contracts and transactions, etc
· Support quarterly and annual financial reporting and disclosure processes for SEC filings
· Primary liaison to the external auditors and internal SOX audits
· Oversee global revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606, including multiple performance obligations, variable consideration, rebates, credits, rights of return, and distributor arrangements.
· Review customer contracts and amendments in partnership with Sales and Legal to assess accounting implications and provide business partners with optimization advice.
· Ensure accurate revenue cut-off, deferred revenue, and contract asset/liability accounting across regions.
· Maintain revenue recognition policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
· Oversee worldwide cost accounting activities, including wafer fabrication, assembly and test, foundry costs, logistics, royalties, and manufacturing overhead
· Ensure accurate standard costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
· Review and support inventory valuation, excess and obsolete (E&O) reserves, and lower-of-cost-or-net-realizable-value (LCNRV) assessments.
· Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to understand cost drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
System Management
· Lead worldwide Oracle instance and other related business information systems
· Lead automation projects and consider AI tools to improve process efficiencies
Team Leadership
· Manage and mentor accounting staff in the US and abroad
· Establish clear goals, training, and development plans to support a high-performing global team.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of audit and accounting experience, including minimum 5 years in public accounting (financial audit under US GAAP)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and inventory/cost accounting

● Proficient in HCSS Heavy Bid
● Negotiated project experience preferred, including technical writing skills.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Drywall Estimator / Project Manager will oversee the estimating and management of drywall projects from bid through completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of drywall systems, materials, labor productivity, and construction sequencing. This role requires strong analytical skills to produce accurate estimates, as well as the ability to manage awarded projects to ensure they are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget. Effective communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams is critical, along with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare detailed drywall estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Know and comply with all relevant building codes, OSHA requirements, and project-specific safety and quality standards.
- Manage bid process: perform quantity take-offs, prepare proposals, clarify scope, and participate in pre-bid meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
- Develop project schedules and manpower plans based on drywall scopes and coordinate with field supervision.
- Secure and allocate resources, including material orders, manpower, equipment, and permits where required.
- Negotiate and manage changes to drywall contract scope, schedule, and costs.
- Conduct site walks and inspections to verify installation methods, assess quality, and track productivity against estimates.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and cost tracking.
- Regularly report on project progress, financials, and variances.
- Provide leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and mentoring staff.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent field experience in drywall estimating/project management may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in drywall estimating and/or project management within the commercial construction industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, wall types, finish schedules, and specifications specific to drywall and ceilings.
- Knowledge of drywall assemblies, framing systems, insulation, fireproofing, soundproofing, and finish standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Timberline or similar).
- Solid computer skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- OSHA-30 certification preferred.
