Position Summary:
Our skilled CT Technologists performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Technologists perform computed tomography (CT) procedures by selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce technically accurate cross sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Techs participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique and producing CT images.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
- Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience:
- 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting preferred.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Test Development & Validation
- Create and implement structured test plans, procedures, and scripts to verify hardware and firmware requirements.
- Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on embedded systems and electronic assemblies.
- Ensure products meet defined specifications and quality benchmarks.
Automation & Tools Development
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for electronic systems.
- Build scripts and utilities to streamline validation processes and improve repeatability.

Debugging & Root Cause Analysis
- Troubleshoot firmware and hardware issues using standard laboratory instrumentation.

- Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in electronic testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Solid understanding of circuit analysis and electronic theory (AC/DC fundamentals).
- Working knowledge of analog and digital circuits, including amplifiers, switching circuits, regulators, filters, and I/O interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with common lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and signal generators.
- Experience with schematic capture tools, CAD platforms, and integrated development environments.
- Proficiency in embedded firmware development using C/C++.
- Familiarity with electronic component selection and evaluation.
- Understanding of PCB assembly processes and electronic manufacturing fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-disciplinary engineering teams.

- Calibrate, clean and maintain diagnostic equipment and recognize when equipment malfunctions. The tech is also responsible for inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Effectively communicate with patients to elicit appropriate responses in order to derive meaningful data. Establish and maintain effective working relationships and good customer service skills.

- Proficient in working effectively across programs for clients with both mental health and substance use disorders.
- Negotiates level of care and length of stay with managed care companies; continually re-evaluates client’s needs and informs the third party payers of ongoing changes in the client’s status.
- Works collaboratively with internal and external partners along the continuum of care to provide an integrated delivery of healthcare to all clients and families.
- Conducts Emergency Evaluations for clients in the community if required by the program.
- Participates and leads administrative activities including, team meetings and staff education as designed by the Program Manager.
- Assumes clinical oversight of daily operations in manager’s absence.
- Assumes leadership responsibilities and initiatives as directed by Program Manager.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Three years' experience providing direct services to psychiatric patients, substance abuse population.
