Are you an experienced psychiatrist looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in Idaho ? We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to provide coverage for an inpatient behavioral health unit.
This position offers a dynamic work environment, with a variety of psychiatric cases and the chance to work closely with a team of professionals.
Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Location: Near Grace, ID Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Psychiatry Practice Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult patients.
Meet with assigned patients and attend treatment team meetings daily.
Assess and manage psychiatric emergencies and treatment needs for patients, including potential admits.
Supervise and collaborate with a mid-level provider (APP).
Ensure safe and effective medication management, including psychopharmacology and emergency interventions when necessary.
Manage psychiatric patients in a unit that includes a range of psychiatric conditions.
Participate in call coverage after hours for emergency needs, including patient admits and acute psychiatric interventions.
Required Qualifications: Board Certification: Psychiatry Experience: At least 2-3 years of clinical experience in inpatient psychiatry.
Licensure: Licensed in Idaho or IMLC.
Other Certifications: BLS required.
ACLS, ATLS, PALS not required.
Fellowship: Preferred, but not required.
Patient and Workload Details: Patients per Shift: 9-10, with potential for 14-19 with APP support.
Bed Capacity: 19 beds in the behavioral health unit.
Support Staff: 1 PA/NP, 2 RNs.
Schedule & Call Details: Schedule: Provider will work a 7-day shift from 7 AM to 7 AM.
Call: The provider will be on call in the evenings and weekends for emergency psychiatric needs, including consultations and patient admissions.
Call Response Time: 45 minutes.
Additional Information: The facility uses the Epic EMR system.

Northwest Family Medicine - St. Maries Clinic is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused RN to join the team!
Under the supervision of the Practice Supervisor, the Registered Nurse directs and/or provides professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Responsible for delivering patient care services in a Family Medicine setting. This position will focus on assessing, identifying, and solving nursing care and pre-operative problems during the pre-operative phase. This position will assist with emergency procedures, providing medications, and initiating intravenous fluid replacement. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment, instruments, best nursing practices, standards, and protocols. The Registered Nurse will need to project a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of the Hospital, patients, and employees as appropriate. Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina, and endurance. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions and Qualifications:
* Operates all required equipment and machinery accurately and safely.
* Sets priorities to facilitate the timely and efficient flow of patents throughout the day.
* Conducts an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing the data collection based on the patient's immediate condition or needs within timeframe specified by client facility's policies, procedures, or protocols.
* Start and monitor IV's, administer pre-operative medications, perform pre-operative instruction, and explain patient's rights and procedures.
* Develops plan of care that is individualized for the patient reflecting collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
* Assisting with emergency procedures, providing medications, and initiating intravenous fluid replacement.
* Performing physical assessments, taking vital signs, and documenting findings in the electronic health record (EHR).
* Collecting a thorough medical history from patients and family members upon admission.
* Initiates emergency resuscitative measures according to resuscitation protocols.
* Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient, family, and facility staff.
* Provides care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to patient and family's diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights.
* Maintains current competency in nursing specialty.

The new Caldwell Health Plaza Family Medicine clinic is now hiring for a personable and efficient Medical Assistant!
Position Summary & HighlightsThis position will support 2 Family Medicine providers as a second MA position, and will also work with other MAs and providers as well in a care team environment.

The Caldwell Health Plaza, opened early November 2025, is a 54,000 square feet facility home to a variety of clinics including: family medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, occupational medicine, and specialty services such as OB-GYN, cardiology, general surgery, ENT (ears, nose, and throat), orthopedics/sports medicine, and podiatry.
In addition to primary MA duties, you will also perform phlebotomy, administer immunizations, and prep injections.
You will assist with minor procedures, complete POC and other tests, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox.
An ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, is adaptable and dependable.
You also like working in a strong team environment, have effective communication skills, and have solid critical thinking skills.

The Meridian Health Plaza (MHP) Family Medicine Clinic is looking for a personable and hard-working Medical Assistant!
Position Summary & HighlightsThis position will work with a busy Family Medicine physician and will also work with other MAs and providers as well in a great workplace culture.

Our family medicine providers can address diagnosed health concerns early, before they become serious, as well as help you better manage existing conditions including physical, mental, and social health issues across all ages and stages of life.
This MA position will support a busy physician and also will support nurse visits, in-basket tasks, and float to other providers in the clinic when needed.
In addition to primary MA duties, you will administer immunizations, complete child well visits, and assist with minor procedures.
You will also perform phlebotomy, POC testing, UAs, ear lavages, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox.
An Ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, solid follow through, and has strong critical thinking skills.
You also like working in a strong team environment, have effective communication skills, and providing excellent patient care!
36 hours per week, 4 - 9-hour days.
This position will work either Tuesdays - Fridays (Mondays off).
Around the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm.
Schedule may vary some based on providers' schedules and clinic needs.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
American Medical Technologists (RMA)
National Healthcareer Association (CCMA)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA)
American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)
National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA)
New Graduates: 1) MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school. 2) Completion of either a 100-hour MA externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of the externship hours even with MA certification.
Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 Year of MA experience OR Current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
*EMT and CNA certifications will not count towards an MA certification. Obtaining the MA certification typically requires completing an MA Program or working as a Medical Assistant for at least 1 year. See each of the credentialing organization sites for additional details.
