Our operation is based in Greer, SC and supports BMW. We play a critical role in their inbound and outbound transportation network by managing daily dispatch, driver coordination, material flow and real‑time issue resolution.
Shifts Available:
2nd shift: 2:00pm - 11:30pm, Sunday - Friday
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead daily dispatch: Coordinate routes, assign drivers, and monitor the movement of freight to meet service windows and customer KPIs.
- Be the communication hub: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, the customer, and warehouse teams; provide timely updates on exceptions and ETAs.
- Manage material flow: Track inbound/outbound loads, reconcile discrepancies, and escalate risks to maintain on‑time performance.
- Ensure safety and compliance: Reinforce company policies and DOT/OSHA standards; address infractions and coach for improvement.
- Optimize resources: Build driver and equipment schedules; balance workloads to maximize productivity and control costs.
- Problem‑solve in real time: Triage service issues (breakdowns, delays, accessorials), initiate corrective actions, and document incidents accurately.
- Report and improve: Maintain precise operational records (manifests, logs, metrics) and contribute ideas to improve on‑time service, quality, and cost.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- 0–3+ years in dispatch, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution (transportation/route coordination experience a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
- Leadership mindset with the ability to coach and support front‑line teams.

The site uses a High Performance Teams structure to execute on the foundational principles of Total Productive Maintenance and Lean Manufacturing. Each associate at the Spartanburg site is accountable to a functional business unit and to the overall site operation.
As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will work with internal and external teams to execute varied maintenance, capital, and continuous improvement plans with minimal supervision. A strong understanding of automated electrical and mechanical systems is key to your success in this role.
In this team-based environment, you will be looked upon to train, mentor, and guide the work of less experienced technicians within your group.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute predefined maintenance and continuous improvement plans.
- Identify gaps, breakdowns, and opportunities in equipment and integrated factory systems.
- Drive maintenance and process improvements to implementation or resolution.
- Identify, plan, and execute work to troubleshoot, repair, modify, or install complex manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Work with Stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend or develop plans and designs to fulfill.
- Assist other technicians and technical teams as priorities dictate, time allows, or as directed.

We operate sheetfed offset and narrow web flexo presses, along with die cutting and custom folding/gluing, supported by advanced inline quality control systems.
The facility is bright, climate-controlled, exceptionally clean, and known for its friendly, team-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on production or facility equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Learn and follow procedures for maintaining and repairing specialized machinery.
- Support preventative maintenance activities, including inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement.
- Work closely with senior technicians to gain technical knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to the team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years of mechanical maintenance, mechanical repair, automotive, machine operation, or similar hands-on mechanical experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn complex systems.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and collaborate with team members.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Climb stairs, ladders, or platforms to access machinery.
Preferred
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience (e.g., using a multimeter, identifying common faults).
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, or mechanical assemblies.
- Exposure to preventative maintenance practices.
