Job Description:

Purpose:

  • The purpose of the Manager I (MGRI) position is to assist Branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant management operations. The MGRI ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high operational standards. The MGRI uses prescribed policies and procedures to make management decisions.

Essential Functions:

  • Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures

Key Responsibilities: Conduct paper machine audits, shutdown inspections, and service calls in close cooperation with the Application Sales Engineer.

Provide technical troubleshooting for roll-related challenges, identifying and implementing solutions.

Conduct nip impressions and press optimization studies to improve machine productivity and efficiency.

Support mills in setting up preventive maintenance programs and proper roll-keeping records.

Monitor key operating parameters (e.g., cooling water, roll temperatures) to identify potential issues early.

Build and maintain detailed customer databases for roll cover, bowed roll, and mechanical specifications.

Search for and recommend new cover and bowed roll applications to improve mill performance.

Prepare and share detailed visit reports and communicate opportunities or competitive insights with the Application Sales Engineer and leadership.

Relieve the Application Sales Engineer during vacations and contribute to regional sales efforts when needed.

Manage an expense budget in line with company policies.

What You Bring: Must live in North Carolina or be willing to relocate to North Carolina to serve the territory effectively.
