This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced Safety Manager to champion workplace safety culture, foster team development, and support transformational projects for major industry clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation, development, and execution of comprehensive internal and external safety programs at construction sites to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a behavior-based safety culture by collaborating daily with Site Leadership and Safety Coordinators to reinforce safe work practices and safety awareness.
  • Serve as the site safety champion, conducting incident and accident investigations, documenting findings, developing solutions, and establishing corrective actions to meet safety performance targets.
  • Maintain and organize safety files and records to support corporate and field audits for compliance and business reporting requirements.
  • Lead accident and injury investigations, supporting the preparation of relevant materials and evidence for hearings, insurance, and regulatory agency compliance.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources for drug, alcohol, and medical screening of employees in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to established safety policies and procedures, modeling and upholding the organization’s core safety values.
  • Be available for minimal overnight travel (approximately 5%) as required by project needs.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Valid OSHA certifications.
  • Possession of CSP, ASP, STS-C, IOSH and/or CHST certification or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Occupational Health and/or Safety leadership experience in a construction environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local construction safety regulations and best practices.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related discipline.
  • Data center construction experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing and implementing safety audit processes and safety metrics reporting.
  • Familiarity with BICSI or construction technology training programs.
  • Proven ability to mentor, train, and influence cross-functional teams in high-growth environments.
  • Experience supporting accident response and regulatory compliance at data centers or technology infrastructure projects.
  • Operational knowledge of equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs.
