The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating purchasing activities. The Purchasing Manager optimizes the supply chain in a way that supports standards of quality, cost, and service; must continually monitor and adjust to ensure the highest possible value to Hakes Brothers.
Daily Work
- Manage the Purchasing team to provide accurate quantity takeoffs, material lists and contract budget for each new plan and accurate lot cost budget for each subdivision.
- Establish processes and systems to help achieve and excel business goals and objectives.
Controlling and Reducing Costs
- Choose vendors using a balanced approach, including quality, costs, and service.
- Procure contracts and material costs at the lowest possible price, while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Work with other departments to value engineer new product and projects.
- Provide support and feedback for purchasing strategy adjustments.
- Create monthly and quarterly goals with Purchasing team to cut costs and find value.
- Follow up with Purchasing team often to encourage ideas to cut costs; motivate them to achieve cost-cutting goals.
- Create weekly reports for Senior Leadership to review progress made.
- Complete detailed estimates of costs and quantities of residential products using comparative and differential estimating techniques in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Design and implement strategies that reduce build-times, cost, and maintain or increase quality standards.

The Purchasing Agent is responsible for monitoring costs associated with products in both development and construction phases, collaborating with other departments to identify and implement new and more cost-efficient methods and materials, sourcing new vendors and trades, vendor/trade negotiations to obtain reduced costs, and purchase order/work order execution. Duties include:
Controlling and Reducing Costs

- Create accurate lot premium budget for each new subdivision.
Variance Reporting
- Track VPOs on a dialy basis on the VPO Log.
- Forward all "VPO Approved" e-mails to the appropriate Superintendent to make them aware of the extra material thiat is ordered.
- Review the VPO Log at month end and give recommendations for changes to improve future variances.
- Submit Variance Report to the Purchasing Manager by the 25th of the month for all homes closed in the previous month.
- Process Exception Reports within 3 to 5 hours of receipt from Accounting (submit to Construction by 12PM and to Accounting by 1:30PM).
Hard Costs
- Complete all hard cost updates by the assigned deadline.
- Bid lumber by the assigned deadline.
- Run and review Hard Cost Report (following Hard Cost Process exactly).
- Run and review Option Price Updates (following Option Price Update Process exactly) and turn into Purchasing Manager 3 days prior to option price deadline.
- Enforce vendor increase policies.
Custom Options
- Track custom option requests and status on Custom Option Tracker.
- Estimate custom options (ensure all estimates are completed within 3 days of the request or within 5 days for structural requests that require a drawing).
- Responsible for the accuracy of all custom option estimates for Sales.
House Release
- Follow House Release process exactly to ensure correct variance reporting.
- Provide detailed Load Budget Request Sheet to Accounting with proper expectations when asking for budgets to be loaded.
Cost Cuts
- Strive to achieve cost cut goals each quarter through negotiating and value engineering.
- Record progress on Cost Cut Tracker.
Vendor Paperwork
- Update Vendor Paperwork Tracker every Thursday.
- Record date of the most recently signed Schedule A for all vendors.
Rebates
- Ensure that Hakes Brothers is submitting and collecting on all rebate programs on a quarterly basis by the 10th of the month.
Builder of Choice
- Help Hakes Brothers become the Builder of Choice for our trade contractors. Manage trade contractors and supplier relationships so they can accomplish their jobs effectively and efficiently. Work with trade contractors to create value for them, as well as for Hakes Brothers. Be firm but fair; be consistent and reliable;instill discipline; give ample lead times; provide proper materials to execute the job; pay on time; be a good listener, and show respect.

Medical Assistants (MA) report to the Practice Manager or Center Operations Specialist. They are a vital element of our model and important members of our Care Teams. Being an MA at Oak Street Health requires high levels of flexibility, energy, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. You will be expected to build relationships with Oak Street Health members. Medical Assistants will collaborate closely with their teammates to ensure an unmatched patient experience while driving clinical results. As an MA you will accomplish this by assisting in the assessment of patients’ health conditions, through screenings and routine diagnostic testing performed during appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure an efficient patient flow; room patients in a timely manner, complete vital signs, complete required screenings and complete medication reviews
- Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms
- Respond to patient requests for telephonic support (Lab results, faxing records to specialists, etc.)
- In accordance with state regulations, MAs may administer vaccinations, perform point of care tests including but not limited to: A1C, spirometry, EKGs, blood draws for lab testing, etc.
- Import required documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.
- Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinic operations
- Process orders for durable medical equipment
- Request medical records from external providers as required by the provider

What we’re looking for
Required Qualifications:
- State or national certification (as required by state), or graduation from an accredited medical assistant course
- 1 year experience as a medical assistant
- CPR or BLS Certification

- Computer skills: Ability to quickly navigate and use multiple computer programs to include, but not limited to: Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel or Google Sheets, etc.
- Proficiency in non-English languages as required by the center's demographics.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $35.29This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Job Summary
The Guidance Electronics Team provides Electrical Systems Engineering to develop Guidance Electronics solutions for products across the Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) portfolio. Our team develops missile Guidance Electronics Hardware. Our core electrical engineering responsibilities include architecture, analysis, requirements, integration, and test. Our core electrical engineering technologies include RF/RADAR, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Digital, and Power. We partner with several Electrical Product Team departments that provide the detailed design of our electrical products as well as missile level systems teams.
The Guidance Electronics Team is searching for a Senior GPS Subsystems Engineer with experience in GPS technology. The role of the GPS Subsystems Engineer is to provide GPS electronics solution for missile products. GPS electronics solution includes architecture development, requirement definition, electronics design, analysis, modelling and testing. GPS Subsystem Engineer collaborates with missile level system engineers in developing requirements for the subsystem. They perform analysis and modeling to decompose requirements for GPS sub-assemblies and component designs.
What You Will Do
Work environment is primarily in an office, but may include labs, field work, or a combination.
Assignments may include analysis of hardware designs, subsystems, and components; architecting new electronic systems; developing and documenting subsystem requirements and test plans; peer reviews of designs as a subject matter expert; presentations to peers, management, and government customers; and root-cause failure investigations.
Interface directly with suppliers of navigation or guidance electronics components, IMUs and GPSs, to monitor and manage programmatic activities and ensure compliance to requirements

Ideal candidates will also have some experience in systems engineering and architecture and have a desire to grow into a guidance section architect.
Ideal candidates shall also have demonstrated understanding and wide application of technical theories and concepts in the area of navigation subsystems/components used in modern guidance electronics platforms
Recent technical experience relative to integrated Guidance Electronics systems using GPS and IMU navigation subsystems blended via Kalman filter techniques
Knowledge and/or experience with M-Code
Familiarity with Matlab scripting and tools
Experience with hardware integration, Hardware in the Loop (HIL), modeling and simulation and environmental testing and electronics test equipment
Experience working with missiles or similar systems.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the Tech Services industry and has a strong desire to ensure the safety and security of our clients. As a Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-end surveillance systems, CCTV, and other security equipment. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of technology, networking, and communication systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, configure, and maintain CCTV, access control, and other security systems.
2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for all security systems.
3. Conduct site surveys to determine the optimal placement of security equipment.
4. Work closely with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
5. Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of their security systems.
6. Prepare detailed reports on installation activities and any identified security risks.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in surveillance and security technology.
8. Collaborate with the sales team to develop cost estimates for clients.
9. Ensure all installations are completed on time and within the agreed budget.
10. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines during installation procedures.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician or a similar role in the Tech Services industry.
2. Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV and other security systems.
3. Excellent knowledge of computer systems, networking, and communication systems.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
5. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
6. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
7. Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
8. A professional certification in network security or a related field would be an advantage.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ensure compliance with State and Federal environmental regulations relating to public health and welfare.
Minimum Education and Experience Associate's degree in Engineering, Sanitary Technology or Water Technology related field plus five (5) years of water, wastewater operation and maintenance experience, to include two (2) years supervisory experience.
