Job Description:

Join our CV PV team for a rewarding career in the specialties of Cardiac and Vascular. We are a growing team keen to introduce you to our exciting specialty – from Coronary Bypass Graft surgery to valve replacements, heart transplant, open and endo vascular surgeries.

We have a very supportive team with experienced preceptors and strong Educational support.

Provide service and support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Ensures the presence and proper arrangement of surgical equipment and supplies in the operating room to each operation; assists the surgeon during the operation as allowed by professional and legal standards; and assists with cleaning operating room after the operation ensuring proper routing of equipment, and used material. Reports to Manager.



Qualifications

  • Completion of a surgical technologist program.
  • Must be certified through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or be able to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • Maintenance of CPR, BLS validation and attendance of annual Validation Day required.
  • Knowledge of various surgical procedures with the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and to recognize the problems encountered by the surgeon.
  • Knowledge of name and function of surgical equipment and instrumentation required.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Strict adherence to policies and regulations regarding maintenance of sterile field required.
  • Knowledge and practice of basic care and patient safety concepts.
  • Application of the principles of asepsis in a manner that provides optimal patient care.
  • Knowledge of OR emergency situations. 
  • Primary role will be as a CST in one of our seven cardiac or vascular operating rooms. High volume OR, averaging 30 open heart cases per week.

This talented OR team covers the specialty areas of Cardiac and Vascular. Hybrid endovascular procedures, open vascular cases, and busy Open Heart program, including transplant and Heart failure surgeries. 

  • On-call obligation required for covering week nights and both weekend days and nights after the orientation process.
  • Works as a team member in the operating room alongside the rest of the surgical team to provide patient-centered care to high acuity patients.  
  • After orientation there is a possibility for flexible scheduling, including evening or weekend only schedule for the right candidate

Position Summary: The Financial Controller is a key member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. This role manages the Staff Accountant and Financial Analyst and works closely with the CFO to support strategic financial planning, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
Supervise and support the Staff Accountant and Financial Analyst in daily operations and professional development.
Maintain and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings; prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
Build the detailed organizational budget in collaboration with the CFO and Financial Analyst.
Manage the annual audit process, including coordination with external auditors and review of audited financial statements and IRS Form 990.
Prepare and post general journal entries, as well as post AP, AR, and payroll journals.
Actively manage organizational cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability, including monitoring accounts receivable and following up on aged items to support timely collections.
Perform positive pay uploads and monitor daily bank activity to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
Review and ensure the accuracy of program financial reports and funder submissions in accordance with contract requirements.
Price commercial, state, and federal projects in alignment with funding guidelines and organizational goals.
Prepare the annual federal incurred cost submission and indirect cost rate schedule.
Review bank statements and reconciliations performed by G&A staff and periodically review balance sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness.
Support interdepartmental teams by providing financial insights to enhance forecasting accuracy and evaluate program financial performance.
In conjunction with the Executive Assistant, review and approve employee expense reports to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Administer the organization’s 401(k) plan, including the annual Form 5500 filing.
Perform annual and periodic compliance reporting, including but not limited to: Workers’ compensation audit for the organization’s insurance carrier; Medical insurance census and survey; AIES Integrated Economic Survey; Payroll provider’s Medical Coverage Year-End Summary.
Serve as the administrator for the organization’s timekeeping and financial software systems, ensuring proper configuration, user access, and system integrity.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in non-profit financial management and compliance.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, and federal grant regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Must fulfill ITAR citizenship requirements

Job Summary

The Underwriting Solutions Consultant will actively participate in the various stages of the sales and delivery lifecycle of our underwriting ecosystem, from initial discovery with client prospects to ongoing client support in production. Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in prospect discovery sessions to articulate current state challenges and pain points, identifying opportunities for our solutions to deliver business value.
  • Plan and execute compelling new business demonstrations, coordinating with the Proof of Concept (POC) team to ensure specific underwriting processes requirements are met resulting in a higher number of contracts being signed.
  • Consult with product managers, providing insights on product roadmap features based on observed market trends and prospect feedback ensuring our market competitiveness
  • Attend relevant insurance events to stay informed about industry developments and network with potential clients.
  • Participate in delivery kickoffs and collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) to gather end-to-end solution requirements eliminating missing requirements, and clear production release objectives
  • Support the Customer Success team by conducting cross-sell and new feature demonstrations to existing clients.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Mandatory: Minimum 5 to 8 years of underwriting experience within property and casualty, specialty, or excess and surplus lines. Underwriting management experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting, rating, and quoting workflows.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both executive and desk level stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and handling ambiguity.
  • Strong interest in AI, technology and willingness to learn insurance technology platforms and tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States for client meetings and industry events.
