POSITION SUMMARY

Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicures to guests. Assess guest needs, inquire about contraindications, and examine skin, hair, or nails to evaluate condition, appearance, and appropriateness of scheduled service. Determine and advise guests on proper skin, hair, or nail care. Demonstrate, promote, and sell spa/salon retail products. Answer questions about general property information and amenities. Escort guests to and from treatment rooms. Check with guest to ensure continued comfort throughout service. Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift. Dispose of trash and dirty linens in the proper area. The Opportunity

As a dedicated Property Adjuster, you will work within defined guidelines and framework, investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle low to moderate complexity property insurance claims. You will confirm/analyze coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlement in compliance with all state regulatory requirements. This hybrid role requires an individual to be in the office 3 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Tampa, FL or Chesapeake, VA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

This is an experienced desk based Property Adjuster role working in a telephone concentrated environment without physical inspection of loss. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available. Training will be approximately 12 weeks, Monday to Friday and hours may vary by location. Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to an eight-hour work shift ranging between 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (local time) Monday to Friday with availability for occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs.

What you'll do:

  • Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of claims with low to moderate complexity damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage.
  • Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate low to moderate complexity claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.
  • Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.
  • Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing investigation information involving low to moderate complexity policy terms and contingencies.
  • Determines and negotiates low to moderate complexity claims settlement. Coordinates with management for guidance on assessing settlement amounts outside of authority limits to support managing claims outcomes.
  • Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.
  • Applies knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools to prepare and manage low to moderate complexity property insurance claims estimates
  • Recognizes and addresses jurisdictional challenges such as applicable legislation and construction considerations.
  • Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.
  • May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.
  • Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.
  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

  • 1 year of customer service, military leadership, construction related industry/insurance experience and/or experience handling low complexity property claims
  • Knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.

We are seeking an Attorney Partner with experience in handling Professional Liability matters to join our growing Phoenix, Arizona office. The ideal candidate has at least 6-7 years’ experience. Candidates with Home Owner Association defense experience are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:

· Provide initial analysis and develop case strategy

· Prepare and respond to discovery

· Take and defend depositions, draft motions and attend hearings

· Explain legal options to clients and bringing possible outcomes or threats to their attention.

· Build relationships with clients

· Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate verbally and in writing effectively.


Requirements:

· Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.

· In good standing and able to practice law in the state of Arizona

· Strong critical thinking skills and solid academic background.

· Strong sense of urgency about problem solving, meeting deadlines and achieving goals

· Knowledgeable, attentive, and proactive.

· Excellent communicator, negotiator, public speaker, and problem solver.

· Self-motivated, and goal oriented with a track record of meeting billable hours goals.

· Inclined to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

· Detail oriented, organized and effective.

· Professional and can get along with people; communicates well with staff.

· Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Outlook.

· Experience with iManage and/or OneDrive a plus.
