Primary and secondary inpatient health care are available to more than 287,000 veterans living in a 21-county area of the Central Piedmont Region of North Carolina.

In addition to our main facility in Salisbury, we offer services in three community-based outpatient clinics/health care centers.
These clinics are located in Charlotte and Kernersville.
Inpatient services include acute medicine, cardiology, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as sub-acute and extended care.
Primary and specialized outpatient services are provided at the medical center complex and the outlying clinics.
Services are also provided at the Veterans Outreach Centers in Greensboro and Charlotte.
Contractual extended care is provided through an extensive residential care treatment program and a community nursing home program.
Facility Address: 1601 Brenner Ave, Salisbury North Carolina, 28144 RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) Shall perform Pulmonary services, to include providing Intensive Care/Critical Care services and inpatient/outpatient services for the Department of Veteran Affairs at the Shreveport location.
Shall perform procedures such as: thoracentesis, central line placement, arterial line placements, bronchoscopies, bedside bronchoscopies, intubation procedures, patient rounding, bedside echo, PFT interpretations.
Additional skill sets such as sleep study interpretations and EBUS procedures will be supported.
Shall provide inpatient consultation.
Pulmonologist(s) shall be available for consultative care 24/7 for all inpatient care.
The pulmonologist physician shall be reachable by pager or other telecommunication device(s), at the request of a referring physician, to discuss a patient's case to ensure the patient is seen in a timely fashion and to expedite any required care.
Shall provide on-call services.

Medications: Physician(s) shall follow all established medication policies and procedures.

That physician shall be available to perform peer reviews.
REQUIREMENTS Must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited graduate school of medicine.
Must have successfully completed an accredited residency and fellowship program.
Must be board certified or board eligible in Pulmonology.
Must have 3 years' experience as a Pulmonologist.
Must be in good standing, and under no restrictions, with the state licensure board in any state in which a license is held.
Must hold and maintain current certification in the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers.
Must be a US Citizen.

Primary Purpose
The Technical Writer for AV Collaboration Technology will work closely with the EUS Digital Media Manager to create clear and concise documentation for products and services. Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with the Digital Media Manager to create end-user documentation for Microsoft Teams Rooms and other Audio/Video systems deployed .
- Collaborate with Lead Digital Media Engineers to convert technical documentation into:
- User-friendly documentation for non-technical audiences
- Formal technical design and architecture documentation for departmental reference
- Develop governance structures for reviewing next-generation Microsoft Teams Room technology.
- Improve, rewrite, and maintain existing ServiceNow Knowledge Base articles.

Required Qualifications

Job Description:
The Formulations Scientist will be part of a lean, fast paced, highly technical team based in Salisbury, NC that formulates and commercializes agrochemical formulation additives. In this role, formulation demands will come from customers, market trends and novel concepts developed by Innospec R&D. This position reports to the Global Technical Director for Agrochemical.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to Innospec Agrochemical programs as required through support such as:
- formulation development in the laboratory
- performing application tests
- formula scale-up recommendations
- answering inquiries on products and applications
- Develop commercially viable formulations that successfully meet customer and market demands for performance, economics, and regulatory compliance.
- Research new developments and raw materials for product development to meet new market demands.
- Work with Innospec customers, sales, and production teams to define and develop new products.
- Visit customers to promote our products, develop opportunities for collaboration and to help solve application technical issues involving our products.
- Represent the company at various industry technical events.
Requirements
Candidate must have hands-on experience in formulation developments and characterizations across a wide range of pesticide formulation categories including EC, SC, ME, SL, SE, OD, CS, WP, WG covering concentrates, dispersions and emulsions. Familiarity with the operation of common Agrochemical formulation equipment and CIPAC test methods will be required. Understanding and application knowledge of surfactants, formulation stability, wetting, penetration and other physical characteristics is also required. Prior formulation experience in biologicals, seed treatment, adjuvant, fertilizer and micronutrient areas will also be desired.
- Minimum of a BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or other related science field. An advanced degree in relevant field such as Agronomy, Plant Physiology is a plus.
- 3-5 years in agricultural or consumer formulation and applications in the pesticide, fertilizer and adjuvant industry.
- Domestic travel will be required, with up to 10% of time on travel.
- Very effective communicator, both written and oral, and excellent team player.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Take care of the day-to-day technical support through lab work performing standard laboratory formulation development and application tests.
- Collect analytical and performance data on existing product portfolio.
- Develop formulations for the promotion of Innospec products.
- Produces R&D samples on Lab and Pilot scale.
- Keep accurate records of the day-to-day lab activities, issue detailed technical reports in a reasonable time frame.
- Phone or visit customers to help them solve application technical issues involving our products.
We are looking to add a Safey Manager (SHE Manager) to our fast-growing team in Salisbury, NC.
The SHE Manager will be responsible for being the lead of safety culture improvement and to the implementation of the company’s process safety, operational safety and environmental
management strategy.
Essential Functions
- Process safety, operational safety and environmental management
- Maintain a current knowledge base of best industry practice related to operational/process safety & environmental management, standards and procedures.
- Maintain a current knowledge base of current and proposed legislation which could impacting on operational/process safety & environmental management, standards and practices in the company
- To assist with the development of appropriate operational/process safety and environmental management policies, strategies and work programs
- To assist with the development of, best-in-class standards in all aspects of operational / process safety and environmental performance
- To support key personnel across the company with their responsibilities and accountabilities with regard to, operational / process safety and environmental management
- To provide training and support to key site staff to ensure that they can undertake their operational / Process Safety and environmental management tasks fully and well
- To support SHE Best Practice Networks across the company.
- To assist with the development of and visibility of operational / process safety and environmental performance measures across the company
- To assist with the regular review of sites operational /process safety and environmental management performance and the development of regular improvement
- Improve compliance with corporate safety standards.
- Evaluates hazards within the facilities for process safety, occupational safety, environmental risks and support the implementation of control measures.

Role Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering preferably with post graduate degree in process safety.
- 5+ years’ experience in Process safety duties in COMAH chemical sites dealing with operations involving critical hazards
- 5+ years' in a leadership role
- 2+ years’ experience in Hazard Study Leader
- Experience in SHE duties at a chemical manufacturing site
- Experience in developing Environmental and Safety Management Systems
