This organization produces highly engineered metal components serving industries such as aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial manufacturing.

They are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to act as a key contributor in driving process improvements, supporting new product introductions, and leading quality initiatives across the organization. This is a highly visible role working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and production efficiency
• Apply statistical analysis tools to evaluate manufacturing processes and reduce variation
• Support new product introductions and quality planning activities
• Work directly with customers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Conduct internal, customer, and supplier audits
• Develop and implement quality procedures, documentation, and process controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive root cause investigations and solutions
• Support inspection processes and material disposition decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial preferred)
• 5–8 years quality engineering experience in manufacturing
• Experience working in ISO-certified environments (AS9100 or IATF preferred)
• Strong experience with SPC tools such as PPAP, APQP, RCA, and gage R&R
• Experience leading process improvement or Lean initiatives
• Internal or external auditing experience preferred
• Six Sigma or ASQ certification strongly preferred

Position Summary

Medix partnered with this manufacturer to recruit a highly organized and analytical Master Planner to manage production planning, inventory, and supply chain scheduling for their CNC manufacturing operations. The Master Planner will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure the right materials and products are available at the right time, meeting both production and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute master production and material plans to meet demand for orthopedic implants.
• Balance demand, capacity, and material constraints across production lines.
• Analyze historical data, forecasts, sales orders, and system reports to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve planning accuracy, throughput, and key performance metrics.
• Pull, interpret, and report key metrics to track and improve planning performance.
• Identify system and process gaps, support system “test drives,” and drive workflow optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to align production schedules with customer requirements and machine capacity.
• Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding changes in demand, lead times, and production schedules.
• Support new product introductions (NPIs) by coordinating required materials, tooling, and production capacity.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems (Connexus, Oracle preferred) to plan, schedule, and track production activities.
• Lead and guide a team of 3 planners on metrics, planning activities, and system improvements.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in planning, scheduling, and inventory management.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain planning
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Connexus and Oracle ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of demand and supply planning, production planning, and manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with validation processes, material movement, and machining environments (CNC experience a plus).
• CNC machining environment experience is preferred; knowledge of FDA/ISO regulations is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Involves planning and some financial decision-making.
• Supports a large machining operation with a focus on improving key performance metrics and overall planning efficiency.

Position: Cargo Handler

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: 8:30am - 5pm Wed-Sun

Job Description:

Forward Air is seeking capable and career-oriented individuals to work in our fast-paced shipping/dock operation. Our Cargo Handlers are responsible for loading and unloading freight on our trailers in a safe and timely manner. Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight is required. All necessary training and materials for this position are provided.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Responsible for the loading/unloading of 53 ft. commercial trailers and the operation of scanners
• Use handheld scanners to efficiently track and maneuver freight through our distribution network
• Accurately label boxes and prepare freight for shipment
• Safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks/pallets jack and forklifts
• Must be able to obtain certification and safely operate forklift and other machinery as required
• Verify documentation and condition of freight to assure quality standards are achieved
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to ninety (90) pounds
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

The Line Service Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day to day overall management of the FBO line service operations including the fuel farm, quality assurance, its personnel, inventories, properties, equipment, and the adherence to our company policies and procedures and safety standards for the departments staff and our clients and guests.

• Valid drivers license
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
• Computer literate with the ability to learn new software as required
• Professional verbal/written communication skills required.
• Must pass all conducted drug/alcohol screens, background and security checks and prove eligibility for employment in the United States.

As a Cycle Counter you will be part of our supply chain team. The Cycle Counter will perform the following but not limited to:

• Analyze, compute, and verify work orders sent up daily from production.
• Verify clerical computation against work orders and investigate and report reasons for discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain the operation summary worksheet.
• Enter daily production of finished goods and any corresponding scraps and receipts for rework/regrind using the inventory control programs.
• Enter daily work orders into the computer system using the inventory control programs.
• Advise supervisor if FIFO or negative inventory issues are detected.
• Maintain and update all attachments to work orders received.
• Work with Quality Assurance Dept. to track the hold status of products and enter product movement in the inventory control programs.
• Reconcile MOs as appropriate.
• Attendance is part of employee performance.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrate proficient math skills.
• Strong analytical skills & excellent attention to detail.
