Summary
Provides direct and indirect patient care services under a physician's plan of care and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the state's professional standards, and regulatory entities. Assists in coordinating hospital and patient care activities to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, employees, and other health care personnel. Identifies actual and/or potential problems, which affect smooth operations of any hospital department and takes appropriate corrective action. Job Duties
- Manages daily activities to ensure effective operations and communications and that departments remain in compliance with all regulatory bodies.
- Supervises, monitors and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of patient care, including, when appropriate, in-home evaluations of field staff.
- Reviews and monitors appropriateness of nursing care plans and directs the staff to modify plans.

Minimum Qualifications

At Uncommon, our College Counselors work closely with students and parents to find the right colleges and universities to match their goals and enable them to achieve their dreams. College Counselors ensure aligned college matches for students regarding school community, size, location, student to faculty ratio, academic interests, financial aid, and extracurricular interests. The ultimate goal of the College Counselor is to ensure that each student graduates ready to thrive in college and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- You'll teach 11th and 12th grade college seminar courses in which you will guide students through the entire college application process. This includes (but is not limited to) exploring careers, identifying most appropriate post-secondary pathways, writing personal statements, building resumes, securing letters of recommendation, and applying for financial aid and scholarships.

Compensation for this role is between $56,000 to $77,000. Most candidates who meet job description requirements will receive an offer of $56,000 - $60,000.

What You Will Do
The Payroll Lead will oversee all aspects of the company's payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing, compliance with federal/state/local wage & hour and tax regulations, and continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes. The individual will act as the subject?matter expert for payroll, partner with HR, Finance and external vendors, and lead the payroll team to deliver high quality, efficient service.
How You Will Make an Impact
Manage end-to-end payroll for all employees (USA, UK, Ireland, Canada).

The PSR II draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR II has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The PSR II will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate.
Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and professional environment.
Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
Maintains required records and documentation.
Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
Job Requirements: Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.

Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience: Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
