Quality Manager

About the Opportunity

An established advanced materials manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager to lead and strengthen its Quality Management System while partnering closely with operations, engineering, and leadership to drive manufacturing excellence.

This is a high-visibility leadership role reporting directly to the General Manager, responsible for ensuring quality standards across manufacturing operations while championing a “right-the-first-time” culture that reduces variation, strengthens process control, and drives continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate brings strong ISO 9001 experience, a hands-on approach to plant quality, and the ability to lead teams while solving complex manufacturing challenges.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Quality Management System

• Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Ensure compliance with documented procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
• Lead internal audits and support external customer and regulatory audits
• Manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes and system documentation

Partner with Manufacturing Operations

• Work closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure strong process capability and control
• Review production orders, quality plans, and technical prints for accuracy
• Support quality planning for new product introductions
• Oversee inspection processes including first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Ensure proper identification and disposition of non-conforming materials

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Lead root cause analysis for customer complaints, supplier issues, and internal quality events
• Implement corrective actions and validate effectiveness
• Use data and quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Champion waste reduction and operational efficiency initiatives

Manage Inspection & Measurement Systems

• Ensure calibration and traceability of measurement equipment
• Maintain accuracy and reliability of inspection processes
• Support validation of measurement and inspection methods

Lead and Develop the Quality Team

• Provide leadership and direction to Quality Supervisors and Technicians
• Support training on quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements
• Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and quality excellence

Customer & Supplier Quality

• Serve as a key contact for customer quality communication and issue resolution
• Participate in customer audits, visits, and technical discussions
• Work with suppliers to address quality issues and drive corrective actions

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of Quality leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Demonstrated success in root cause analysis, CAPA, and process improvement
• Experience partnering with operations and engineering teams in a manufacturing setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and suppliers

Education

Associate degree in a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Equivalent industry experience may be considered.

Title: Physical Therapist

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Outpatient – Physical Therapy / Sports Medicine / Ortho

Location: Vineland, NJ

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, day shift. Must close at least 2 shifts per week. No weekends. Open to 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.

Pay: $80,000–$110,000 salary based on experience plus full benefits package (PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401k with safeguard match, CEU credits, FSA)

The Physical Therapist administers medically prescribed and necessary physical therapy treatment as determined through a comprehensive evaluation process for patients suffering from injuries or dysfunction of the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and integumentary systems. The goal is to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability by performing the following duties personally or through appropriate delegation to support staff. Duties include:

• Tests and measures patient strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency and records findings.
• Administers physical therapy treatments (including home instruction) within the scope of PT practice and monitors patient responses to treatment.
• Assists in marketing and promotional efforts and events as needed.

Sanitation Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

A growing food production facility is looking for an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day sanitation activities across the plant. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and audit‑ready environment while guiding a team in a high‑volume manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who understands food safety programs, sanitation methods, and regulatory expectations. Must have experience with wet food manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and periodic sanitation tasks, including upkeep of the Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Ensure all cleaning procedures, SSOPs, and internal sanitation practices meet regulatory and plant requirements.
• Direct sanitation staff during the shift—providing coaching, training, and ongoing performance support.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and other applicable guidelines.
• Oversee cleaning of equipment, floors, drains, and food contact surfaces, including CIP/COP systems.
• Manage sanitation chemicals, usage logs, and employee chemical‑handling training.
• Support programs related to pest management, glass and brittle plastics, and facility color‑coding.
• Maintain accurate documentation, complete sanitation records, and ensure work orders are properly closed.
• Assist with preparation and walkthroughs for internal and external audits.
• Promote a strong culture of cleanliness, food safety, and employee safety throughout the plant.
• Conduct equipment and safety training, including PIT/forklift and LOTO.

The Level B Fleet Mechanic/Technician is a journeyman-level role responsible for independent diagnosis and repair of most mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on refuse trucks, heavy trucks/tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. This role also mentors Level C technicians, supports road calls, and ensures high uptime and DOT compliance for the fleet.

• Diagnostics & Repair

  • Independently diagnose and repair:
    • Diesel and gasoline engines (intake, fuel, cooling, aftertreatment/emissions components).
    • Drivetrain components including clutches, transmissions, differentials, PTOs, and drive lines.
    • Air and hydraulic brake systems, ABS, and suspension components.
    • Hydraulic systems on refuse equipment (packer bodies, arms, cylinders, pumps, valves, and hose routing).
    • Electrical systems including starting/charging, multiplex wiring, sensors, and lighting.

   

  Preventive Maintenance & Compliance

  • Perform and sign off on DOT-compliant inspections and PMs, ensuring all safety-critical items are addressed and documented.
  • Accurately interpret and close out DVIR/eDVIR defects; communicate recurring defects to leadership for root-cause analysis.
  • Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software, service bulletins, and wiring schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.

   

  Road Calls & Operational Support

  • Respond to road calls and breakdowns throughout the NYC tri-state area; perform safe temporary or permanent repairs to return vehicles to service or coordinate towing as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and drivers on repair status and estimated completion times.

   

  Mentorship, Training & Documentation

  • Guide and mentor Level C technicians on best practices, safety, troubleshooting, and proper repair methods.
  • Complete work orders thoroughly, capturing complaint, cause, correction, labor hours, and parts used.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for PM compliance, repeat repair reduction, and parts standardization.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years hands-on experience as a diesel, truck, or heavy equipment mechanic/technician, including diagnostics and major component replacement.
• Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with air brake endorsement strongly preferred to perform road tests and move equipment on public roads within NY/NJ/CT.
• Demonstrated proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience in refuse/solid waste, municipal, or LTL/heavy trucking fleet operating in urban environments preferred.
• ASE certifications in Medium/Heavy Truck (T series) or Truck Equipment (E series); working toward Master status preferred.
• Basic welding and cutting skills (MIG, stick, torch) for brackets, hangers, and minor body fabrication preferred.
• Familiarity with computerized fleet maintenance and parts inventory systems preferred.
