Leveraging your expertise in accounting and finance, you will provide strategic oversight and guidance to our audit team, ensuring the highest quality of audit and advisory services to our state and local government clients.

Responsibilities: 1.

Lead and manage multiple audit engagements to deliver quality audit and advisory services to our state and local government clients.

Provide technical expertise on GASB, GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS/Yellowbook standards, ensuring compliance and consistency across all audit engagements.

Develop and implement audit strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.

Review and approve audit reports, providing constructive feedback to audit staff to enhance report quality and accuracy.

5.

Foster strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance on complex accounting and financial matters.

6.

Collaborate with partners and senior leadership to identify business development opportunities and promote the growth of our assurance and advisory services.

7.

Stay abreast of changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations, ensuring our audit practices remain compliant and up-to-date.

Mentor and develop audit staff, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and excellence.

Qualifications: 1.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A Master’s degree or CPA designation is highly preferred.

2.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on state and local government clients.

3.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of GASB, GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, and Yellowbook standards.

4.

Proven experience with auditing in the states of California and Oregon is a must.

5.

Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing and mentoring high-performing audit teams.

6.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex accounting and financial issues.

7.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to clients and team members.

8.

A strong commitment to delivering the highest quality of service to our clients.
