Purpose

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting critical IT infrastructure components that enable secure, reliable, and scalable business operations. This individual will provide advanced technical expertise, lead critical projects, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with organizational standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation including ESX hypervisor configuration, lifecycle management, and optimization.
• Administer VMware NSX networking and security virtualization, ensuring robust segmentation, micro-segmentation, and secure network overlays.
• Oversee storage infrastructure, including Pure Storage arrays, and mange compute platforms such as Cisco UCS servers and Fabric Interconnects via Cisco Intersight.
• Implement disaster recovery and cyber resilience strategies using VMware Live Recovery solutions, including VMware Live Cyber Recovery and VMware Live Site Recovery.
• Maintain Active Directory Domain Services, including group policy and DNS.
• Install, configure, and support Windows Server 2016 – 2025 and provide a point of escalation for Windows 11 end user devices.
• Administer Exchange Online/Hybrid environments, ensuring reliability and integration with Proofpoint Email Protection solutions.
• Maintain and support PKI infrastructure, ensuring the integrity and availability of digital certificates.
• Automate administrative tasks and develop operational scripts using tools such as PowerShell and VCF PowerCLI.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, infrastructure management, and enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in VMware virtualization platforms (vSphere, Cloud Foundation, NSX)
• Experience with Windows Server (2016–2025), Active Directory, Exchange Online/Hybrid, and core Microsoft services
• Strong knowledge of enterprise server and storage platforms (Cisco UCS, Pure Storage) and hybrid cloud/Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience with security and resilience technologies including PKI, EDR/NGAV, email security, monitoring, and data protection platforms
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, PowerCLI).
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching)
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and assisted by additional personnel lifting of equipment up to 120 lbs as needed.
• Occasional travel to Roseburg facilities, data centers, or industry events (up to 10%).
• Participation in after-hours support and on-call rotations as required

  • The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast, accurate diagnosis. Imaging services include: X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CTScan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services. We now offer PET-CT scans, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and one of the most powerful imaging tools that physicians can use to help diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other diagnoses.
• EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current ARRT RT(R) credential required. If registry eligible, credential within six (6) months of hire required.
  • Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required. If a new graduate, temporary license upon hire and permanent license within six (6) months of hire required.

Purpose

The IT Field Engineer II will support physical deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting IT hardware and cabling at Roseburg production sites, offices, and data centers. This position will actively collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Network, and System Engineers and may lead small site-level initiatives to ensure reliable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and Maintain Fiber Optic and Low Voltage Data Cabling Infrastructure
• Supervise and manage external HVAC, Power, Cooling, and Low Voltage contractors
• Design, implement, and manage Server room physical infrastructure(data racks, data cable routing, HVAC, and UPS power and power distribution).
• Implement and manage Access control and camera systems used in both security and process environments.
• Work with Engineering department and plant leadership to manage major construction projects that require additional IT physical infrastructure.
• Assist Core Infrastructure and Operations teams in the installation and configuration of computers, storage, switches, routers, wireless, and other IT infrastructure.
• Work with the service desk and support administrators to deploy devices such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
• Work as part of a virtual team with Automation to deploy HMI’s, PLC’s, and other operation system needs.
• Update and maintenance current as-builds for all infrastructure in netTerrain software Work with IT staff and plant staff to support and may lead capital improvement projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Four years of experience working in IT in an industrial production environment.

• Network skills: Route, Switch, Firewall/Security, Wireless, Circuit Management, VPN, general infrastructure etc. (Cisco/Meraki)
• Physical Infrastructure installation skills such as data cabling, fiber optic splicing, UPS power and Datacenter cooling

• Must be able to be on call for 24x7 manufacturing operations, including nights, weekends and holidays as required

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

Job Description:

• Component pay structure: Average pay $90,000 - $100,000
• Regional Routes (3-5 day layover, extensive travel)
• Schedule: 4-5 days per week; start between 11PM – 3AM

• Moves tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
• Unloads products from the trailer, transports items into designated customer storage areas.
• Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy.
• Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
• Collects money (cash or checks) where required. Loads customer returns on to trailer and secures trailer doors.
• Ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured.
• Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork. Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
• Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
• At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
