Infrastructure Project Manager

** Infrastructure PM Role **

** Candidate Should have Public Sector Experience **

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery.
• Three (3) years of experience working with State of California departments, agencies, or public sector organizations.
• Five (5) years of experience managing infrastructure modernization projects, including one or more of the following:

• Cloud migration initiatives
• Data center modernization
• Server and storage infrastructure upgrades
• Network infrastructure projects
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning

5. Three (3) years of experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure projects, including:

• Cloud migration strategy
• AWS architecture coordination
• Infrastructure automation
• Cloud security and compliance

6. Five (5) years of experience using formal project management methodologies, such as:

• PMBOK
• Agile / Scrum

Desirable Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
• AWS Certifications, such as:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

• Experience working with California Department of Technology (CDT) Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL).
• Experience preparing and managing State project documentation, including:

• Feasibility Study Report (FSR)
• Special Project Report (SPR)
• Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) documentation
• Statement of Work (SOW)
• Request for Offer (RFO)

• Experience with IT Service Management frameworks (ITIL).
• Experience managing large-scale cloud transformation programs within government environments.
