Job Duties
The Division Chief will oversee all aspects of gastroenterology services, including inpatient and outpatient care, endoscopy services, subspecialty programs, quality initiatives, and growth strategies. Reporting to the System Chair of the Medicine Institute, your responsibilities will include:
Leadership & Administration:
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Division of Gastroenterology.
Oversee division operations, budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance.
Recruit, mentor, and retain faculty, advanced practice providers, and staff.
Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, professionalism, and accountability.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and institutional standards.
Clinical Excellence:

The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute, primarily located at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician leader with expertise in Hematology and Cellular Therapy (HSCT and CAR-T). This position offers a Division Chief leadership role in a growing and dynamic Hematology and Cellular Therapy program dedicated to clinical and translational research as well as exceptional patient care.
The Division Chief works with the AHN Cancer Institute Chair and other leaders to develop and implement strategy and processes for patients under the care of the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy. The Division Chief shall also maintain all current and future standards of care, both inpatient and outpatient as well as accreditations needed to assure service for the region. The Division Chief will maintain the same standards and accreditations for subdivisions of the Cell Processing and Molecular Hematology Laboratory. The Division Chief will assume responsibilities for research and development within the division and connect these activities to the larger goals of the AHN Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will be considered for the role of Division Chief of the Hematology and Cellular therapy Program.

- Team Structure: In partnership with one division administrative director, overseeing 13 physicians and 18 APP in the practice, with support from six nurses, one laboratory manager and staff as well as a research team.

Duties:

- Directs all accreditation efforts for the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy and associated specialty laboratories including but not limited to FACT, CAP, CoC, etc.
- Participate in regional, national, and international meetings
- Participate actively in the Cellular Therapy Program, including patient selection, conditioning, cellular therapy procedure, post-cellular therapy management, and management of complications
- Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned
- Contribute to research activity within the department, including investigator-initiated trials, cooperative group and industry-sponsored clinical trials, laboratory investigation, and publication of research findings
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Board-certified in Hematology and/or oncology
- Completion of an ACGME-approved Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
- 7+ years of experience in hematology/oncology
- Extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of hematological malignancy
- Significant experience in all aspects of cellular therapy
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills

Welder II welds small vessels and structural components utilizing SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW and GMAW welding processes. Welder II performs these procedures to meet CCC certified procedures. (These may include ASME, API, AWS, and ANSI code certification.) Materials may include carbon steel, stainless steel and various other nickel-based alloys. Welder II is able to back-gouge using carbon-air-arc or plasma for full penetration welds. Welder II will clean and polish welds to company design specifications. Welder II is able to pass non-destructive testing of pressure retaining welds, on both pipe and vessels. Welder II works from drawings/sketches to determine weld size, weld location and weld process. Welder II inspects own work to ensure compliance to drawings and weld procedures and makes necessary repairs. Welder II will assist with incoming parts inspection and final product inspection and complete appropriate documentation. Welder II will operate Fork trucks, jib cranes and overhead crane. Welder II will complete ASME code weld log documentation daily - high pressure cyclesorbs and assist in other areas of the plan as assigned.

Our client is seeking a Manager, Workplace Services & Experience to support the daily operations of their newly established 90,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters. This individual will serve as the primary onsite liaison between internal stakeholders and the external facilities management partner responsible for building operations.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the workplace environment operates efficiently and reflects the organization's standards for a high-quality employee and visitor experience. The Manager will coordinate across internal departments and external vendors to maintain seamless facility operations, oversee service delivery, and support a positive and productive workplace.
Acting as the internal coordination hub for workplace services, this individual will help align internal teams during facilities-related contract reviews and vendor engagements while ensuring that onsite execution meets expectations. While the external facilities management provider leads major initiatives such as RFP development, vendor negotiations, and contract management, this role provides the internal leadership and day-to-day oversight necessary to ensure successful implementation and ongoing service delivery.
This position is onsite five days per week to maintain continuous operational support and visible workplace leadership. While approximately 300 employees follow a hybrid schedule and are primarily onsite Tuesday through Thursday, the building operates Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities
Facilities Coordination & External Partner Management
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for the organization's external facilities management partner.
- Collaborate with the external facilities team during vendor selection and RFP processes.
- Coordinate internal feedback and approvals from departments such as Legal, Finance, IT, and senior leadership during contract review and execution processes, including DocuSign workflows.
- Help ensure vendor agreements are implemented successfully and services are delivered in accordance with expectations.

The chosen candidate will deliver therapy and treatment to children, adolescents, and adults, diagnose mental illnesses, and provide treatments in underserved communities throughout Pittsburgh. Our services aim to bridge gaps in healthcare access across various neighborhoods and demographics, serving populations like the uninsured, homeless individuals, those in poverty, substance abuse sufferers, disabled individuals, at-risk children, veterans, isolated seniors, members of the LGBTQA+ community, sex workers, and others who need mental health support but struggle to access traditional care settings.
