Summary
The pharmacy team at Samaritan Health Services is looking for a Traveling Pharmacist to performs the duties of Pharmacist as prescribed by state and federal statutes as well as SHS policies. Duties include but are not limited to preparing and dispensing medication, assessing clinical status of patients (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics), providing drug information to the medical team and educating patients. This position is eligible for a $3.00 per hour float differential to be paid on hours worked. Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive optometric care, including chronic eye disease management
- Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals across specialties
- Participating in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Minimum Requirements
- One-year OD residency preferred, or
- Minimum of three years clinical experience with demonstrated chronic disease management

Compensation Details
- Annual salary: $118,700 – $144,800
(Dependent on skills, qualifications, degrees/certifications, training, and market factors)
- Total Rewards Value Range: $180,101 – $225,000
- Hiring Incentive: Up to $15,000 relocation allowance

- Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm with OR schedule every Monday
- 3 - 4 new patient consults and 3 - 4 follow-ups per day
- Minimal rounding with 0 - 1 patients per day if admitted
- Robotics and chemo management required
- Permanent replacement position
- Hospital privileges required
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
