We are searching for a motivated and passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) with a commitment to commute a radius of 20 miles from the job posting site.

About the Role:

As a Pediatric Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant, you’ll bring therapy into the comfort of a child’s home—where real-life skills are learned best! From improving fine motor skills to enhancing sensory processing, you’ll empower children to reach their full potential in everyday activities. An OTA will treat children's gross and fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, social development, and mastery of self-care routines and activities of daily living.

We serve the beautiful state of Colorado. All our therapists have the freedom to decide the specific locations within the State of Colorado which they serve, as well as the days and hours they work. We do offer telemedicine options for families under specific circumstances. All employees must be located in the State of Colorado upon start date.

What You’ll Do:

Provide play-based, goal-oriented therapy for children with developmental and medical needs under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

Implement treatment plans designed to help children build life skills, confidence, and independence.

Collaborate with families and caregivers to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines.

Deliver compassionate, one-on-one support in home and community settings.

Communicate effectively and consistently with supervising therapists, team members, service coordinators, translators, and administrative staff.

Assist in documenting progress notes, daily treatment logs, and discharge summaries per OASIS standards.

Maintain HIPAA compliance with all communication and documentation.

Participate in mandatory staff meetings and enjoy optional team bonding events to stay connected and informed.

Additional Information

Documentation Requirements

Treatment notes and discharges must be completed within 2 days of a visit.

Missed visit notes must be completed weekly according to the established schedule.

All notes are reviewed and co-signed by the supervising occupational therapist.

License & Training Requirements

Current DORA and NBCOT certification as a COTA.

Completion of state-mandated continuing education per DORA requirements.

Maintain current CPR certification.

Report any DUI, misdemeanor, or felony convictions or accusations to OASIS.

What We’re Looking For:

Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with current credentials.

Pediatric experience—or a strong passion for working with children!

Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a family-centered approach.

Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for making therapy fun and functional.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google tools.

Ability to manage multiple schedules and adapt to changing priorities.

A self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Job Type:

• Full Time and Part Time Available
• $45 per visit

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

• Sets up and operates induction hardening equipment to properly harden and temper and harden our product.
• Possesses and applies knowledge of heat treating processes, temperatures, atmospheres, quenching, soaking times, carburizing cycles and equipment maintenance.
• Assists furnace operators in determining temperatures, times, atmospheres, quenching, carburizing cycles and general heat treat processing of unusual and infrequently run steels and irons.
• Knows types of steel as to the proper heat treat requirements.
• Operates all related equipment efficiently.
• Possesses and applies knowledge of heat treating of tool steels and of tool furnace operation as well equipment related to carbon potential, and furnace temperature checking.
• Ensures part conformance to quality/drawing specifications; able to use instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gages, scales and hardness testing machines/devices to ensure proper hardness and depth of parts.
• Carefully loads and unloads furnaces to avoid improper quenching and cooling of parts remaining in the furnace.
• Performs running maintenance.
• Removes parts from furnace by hand or mechanical means and deposits parts in containers.
• Posts work output results to appropriate records.
• Processes parts through required cleaning or peening operations.
• Performs other related duties as directed.
• Works well with others and communicates effectively.
• Works safely and keeps work are organized and clean

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Able to perform moderately active work typical of a manufacturing plant environment. Examples include pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, bending, twisting.
