Each evaluation for disability is an objective history and physical exam including a brief record review and dictationYou must be licensed and in good standing with the Florida State Medical Board.

The work is risk-free because you examine each individual one time.

The Opportunity

As a dedicated Senior Property Adjuster, you will work within defined guidelines and framework, investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will confirm/analyze coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlement in compliance with all state regulatory requirements. The Inside Senior Property Adjuster role is a telephone concentrated environment without physical inspection of loss. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available. Training will be approximately 12 weeks, Monday – Friday and hours may vary by location. Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to an eight-hour work shift ranging between 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (local time) Monday to Friday with availability for occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs.

What you'll do:

  • Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of claims with moderate complexity damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage.

  • Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate moderate complexity claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.

  • Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.

  • Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing investigation information involving moderate complexity policy terms and contingencies.

  • Determines and negotiates moderate complexity claims settlement. Develops recommendations and collaborates with management for determining settlement amounts outside of authority limits and accurately manages claims outcomes.

  • Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.

  • Applies proficient knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools; Utilizes platforms and tools to prepare claims estimates to manage moderate complexity property insurance claims.

  • Applies working knowledge of industry standards of inspection, damage mitigation and restoration techniques.

  • Serves as an informal resource for team members.

  • Recognizes and addresses jurisdictional challenges such as applicable legislation and construction considerations.

  • Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.

  • May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.

  • Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Join Our Team as a Website Tester at Little Wheel

Little Wheel is a gambling technology company focused on researching and building products that put players first. We are currently hiring Website Testers across Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

This is a great opportunity to earn extra income on a flexible schedule while helping us test online casinos. No prior experience is required, and all training is provided.

This is a short-term contract, with opportunities for ongoing work for high performers.

Role Overview

As a Website Tester, you will:

  • Participate in user experience testing on various online casino platforms.
  • Follow step-by-step instructions to complete assigned tasks.
  • Record feedback and report bugs or usability issues.
  • Provide detailed insights into your testing experience.
  • Complete all testing assignments within set timelines.

Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Reside in one of the following states: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia.
  • Own a laptop or desktop computer.
  • Be able to complete a short, paid online training and onboarding process.

No previous testing or gambling experience is needed. You will not be gambling with your own money, and there are no fees or out-of-pocket costs. All the interactions/game-play would be for testing purposes.
