The environment is friendly but fast-paced.
On any given day you might take guest orders, operate the point-of-sale system (cash register), handle cash, fulfill orders, prep food, stock items, keep inventory, and of course, keep the front and back of the house up to Disney's famous cleanliness standards.

Foods Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting and interacting with guests in a positive and friendly manner that involves greeting, seating assigning and completing to-go orders for guests. The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach courses in the Sustainable and Impact Finance initiative (especially for the Sustainable Investment Fund and the Climate Solutions Finance course but also other courses covering material in climate and impact financial intermediation or entrepreneurial finance, public-private partnerships, and climate finance solutions), should an opening arise. The pool will remain in place for one year.

The positions are to assist in research in economic development, labor, and health economics, applying rigorous methods for causal inference and machine learning .
The Institute for Business and Social Impact (IBSI) was launched in November 2013 at the Haas School of Business to train and empower leaders to address society's most pressing challenges. As part of the top-ranked Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, IBSI advances pioneering research at the intersection of business and social impact, with particular focus on workforce skills development, financial inclusion, and mental health in organizational settings. General Duties:
- Research Design & Analysis (20%): Assist in designing and interpreting analyses using advanced econometric methods, including reduced form approaches (difference-in-differences, regression discontinuity, instrumental variables) and structural econometrics (method of moments, maximum likelihood, dynamic programming), with a focus on causal inference.
- Data Collection & Field Operations (15%): Support the design and implementation of field experiments, survey development, and primary data collection activities; monitor data quality and coordinate with field teams to ensure research protocols are followed.

Position description
The Institute for Business and Social Impact at UC Berkeley seeks to hire a postdoctoral scholar who applies pioneering, rigorous empirical analysis to policy-relevant questions in applied economics, development, mental health, labor, or closely related fields.
We are especially interested in candidates whose work combines empirical causal inference, administrative or large-scale data, and topics related to development, labor markets, mental health (broadly defined, e.g., measurement, interventions, behavioral mechanisms, digital or light-touch mental health tools), or behavioral economics. We welcome applicants with strong foundations in empirical methods in economics and/or experience designing, implementing, or overseeing large-scale randomized controlled trials.
The ideal postdoctoral scholar will have demonstrated excellence in using modern empirical methods-including econometrics, experimental and quasi-experimental techniques, and/or machine learning approaches for prediction and causal inference-to study policy-relevant questions in development, labor, mental health, or related fields. We seek a postdoctoral scholar who bridges applied microeconomics with behavioral and mental-health insights, using empirical and machine-learning tools to study social and economic policy.
Duties of Position:
The position offers direct engagement in new and exciting research opportunities and personal mentorship from faculty and researchers on the team. The postdoctoral scholar will gain an expanded network of collaborators and become a member of the UC Berkeley research community by actively participating in seminar series and internal workshops to present and receive feedback on their work.

Position Overview:The Manager plays a key leadership role within MercyOne, guiding day‑to‑day departmental operations and upholding the highest clinical practice standards. What You’ll Do:Clinical Leadership & OperationsOversee and support the clinical practice standards within the department.
Ensure safe, high-quality, and effective delivery of clinical services.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, or actively pursuing a BSN with completion expected within 3 years of hire.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in nursing leadership.
Current Iowa RN license required; Illinois RN license required if practicing in Illinois.
Current certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
Hours/Schedule:
.6 fte, 2nd shift and / or third shift every third weekend, will work 8 hour shifts during the week and 12 hour shifts on the weekend 7P-7A, during the week either 3-11 or 11-7 or can work 12 hours during the week 7P-7A
