Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for an IT Applications Systems Specialist for their Grand Junction, CO location.

Responsibilities: Product Ownership: Provide product ownership and senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the Meditech Expanse EMR.

System Support: Provide daily support for application systems with a focus on Meditech Expanse, including troubleshooting and user assistance.

System Updates and Upgrades: Coordinate and manage system updates, patches, and upgrades for all relevant application systems, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.

User Training: Provide utilization training on EMR standards for providers and other healthcare professionals.

User Support: Assist users by troubleshooting/resolving requests received through the service desk, such as user provisioning and enhancement requests for application systems.

Participate in the application call queue, serving as the primary point of contact for application system support.

Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of clinical data including patient records and other critical information within the application systems.

Liaison: Act as a liaison between the IT department and operational staff to address any issues or improvements needed.

Application Expert: Function as an application expert addressing requirements of system integration and compatibility among physician tools and application platforms.

Application Portfolio Management (APM): Quantify and maintain the clinical application portfolio.

Contribute to the application system lifecycle management (LCM) roadmap analysis to optimize the portfolio, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

Requirements: Experience with Acute and/or Ambulatory Meditech Expanse Electronic Health Records systems.

Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems.

Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

Proficiency in training and supporting EMR system users – including physicians.

Excellent verbal and written technical/non-technical communication skills.

Ability to translate technical functions and terminology with Business Operations and Physician Practice staff.

Business Relationship Management (BRM).

Responsibilities: Using material handling equipment, inbound and outbound shipments, loads and unloads trucks, locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations, Log inbound freight (UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DHL).

Safely operates assigned material handling equipment.

Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition.

Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions to supervisor.

Stocking and arranging of product to ensure warehouse turns of inventory.

Determines accurate material quantities by cycle counting.

Receives material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required.

Responsibilities: This is a Technology rollout call center, so all our assignments involve taking or making calls for multiple technology projects.

We also provide first level trouble shooting support to contractors/vendors on-site implementing the hardware.

This position involves taking calls from technicians / vendors / contractors who are implementing technology in the stores (This is not a typical customer / consumer call center.) Calls will be received through a queue and out-bound calls could be required.

As calls are handled a tracking application will be updated and system validations will be made.
