The Scientific Computing and Data group at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai partners with scientists to accelerate scientific discovery. To achieve these aims, we support a cutting-edge high-performance computing and data ecosystem along with MD/PhD-level support for researchers. The group is composed of a high-performance computing team, a clinical data warehouse team and a data services team.
The Lead HPC Architect, Cybersecurity, High Performance Computational and Data Ecosystem, is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cybersecurity infrastructure and technical operations of Scientific Computing’s computational and data science ecosystem. This ecosystem includes a 25,000+ core and 40+ petabyte usable high-performance computing (HPC) systems, clinical research databases, and a software development infrastructure for local and national projects. The HPC system is the fastest in the world at any academic biomedical center (Top 500 list).
To meet Sinai’s scientific and clinical goals, the Lead brings a strategic, tactical and customer-focused vision to evolve the ecosystem to be continually more resilient, secure, scalable and productive for basic and translational biomedical research. The Lead combines deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, HPC systems, storage, networking, and software infrastructure with a strong focus on service, collaboration, and strategic planning for researchers and clinicians throughout the organization and beyond. The Lead is an expert troubleshooter, productive partner and leader of projects. The lead will work with stakeholders to make sure the HPC infrastructure is in compliance with governmental funding agency requirements and to promote efficient resource utilizations for researchers

Key Responsibilities:
HPC Cybersecurity & System Administration:
- Design, implement, and manage all cybersecurity operations within the HPC environment, ensuring alignment with industry standards (NIST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, CMMC, NYC Cyber Command, etc.).
- Implement best practices for data security, including but not limited to encryption (at rest, in transit, and in use), audit logging, access control, authentication control, configuration managements, secure enclaves, and confidential computing.
- Perform full-spectrum HPC system administration: installation, monitoring, maintenance, usage reporting, troubleshooting, backup and performance tuning across HPC applications, web service, database, job scheduler, networking, storage, computes, and hardware to optimize workload efficiency.
- Lead resolution of complex cybersecurity and system issues; provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.

The Senior Solutions Engineer reports to the Team Lead

Evaluate and recommend technical solutions, including AppExchange products, to enhance functionality.
Manage Salesforce system administration: custom objects, fields, layouts, validation rules.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of Salesforce experience, including 3 years with Financial Services Cloud or related financial implementations.
Experience with Salesforce Industries OmniStudio and deployment in banking environments.

Job Summary
The Georgia Institute of Technologys School of Architecture invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at Associate or Full Professor in the School of Architecture in the area of Architecture and Design Computing. The successful candidate will: First, lead the development of research agendas in this area; second, serve as steward for the Eastman Fund to support doctoral students; and third, work with the School Chair and the Dean in order to reshape the mission of the Digital Building Lab (DBL).
The DBL was created by professor Chuck Eastman to address design computation, data standards and interoperability. Over the years it has housed studies in design and construction automation; project delivery systems; and smart buildings, infrastructure and environments, often working in conjunction with the Digital Fabrication Lab which provides a setting for design-build projects for the faculty and the students. The DBL has also fostered collaborations between the faculty of the School of Architecture, the School of Building Construction and the School of Industrial Design, as well as collaborations with the research labs of the faculty including the Shape Computation Lab (SCL) and the High Performance Buildings Lab. Under professor Chuck Eastman, funding came from both successful research applications and from industry memberships. The partnerships with industry fostered and sustained a link between academic research and advances in practice as well as in research internal to major architecture firms. Now is the time to redefine and revitalize the vision and the mission of the lab, taking into account current developments in artificial intelligence, data-based design decisions, and advanced digital modeling of buildings and their performance.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the successful candidate include securing and conducting funded research, stewarding the future identity and growth of DBL, mentoring early career researchers, advising PhD students, leading the development of forward-looking curricula for the MS Arch and PhD programs, and teaching advanced graduate courses in candidate's area of expertise.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must have a terminal professional degree in Architecture or an allied discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
A strong record of publications on architectural and design computation and/or the development of digital technologies applicable to building design and construction; and a strong track record of sponsored research, industry collaboration, and teaching. A Doctoral Degree is preferred. An interest and ability to relate research to studio teaching is welcome but studio teaching is not a requirement for this position.

About the position
The Associate Cloud Engineer supports the operation and maintenance of the organization's cloud infrastructure by executing defined tasks and following established procedures and security best practices.
This role contributes to day-to-day operational activities, including infrastructure deployment, monitoring, patching, and incident triage, while building hands-on experience in a production cloud environment.
Applicants must reside in the United States. US Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Has hands-on exposure to Infrastructure as Code toolsets used to deploy cloud infrastructure
- Works with low-complexity infrastructure code, including writing or enhancing existing definitions
- Seeks guidance from more senior engineers for non-routine work
- All changes are reviewed prior to implementation
Configuration
- Works with service management and configuration tools to support server configuration
- Has exposure to low-complexity configuration code and established configuration patterns
- Non-routine configuration changes require guidance and review from senior team members
Task Automation
- Applies foundational scripting knowledge using tools such as REST APIs, Azure Automation Runbooks, Azure Function Apps, and DevOps pipelines
- Supports low-complexity automation tasks
- All automation work is reviewed before implementation
Networking
- Applies foundational knowledge of general and cloud networking concepts to support a secure hosting environment
- Implements networking changes that have been reviewed and approved
Monitoring & Alerting
- Works with Azure Monitor and related alerting capabilities, including alert rules, action groups, and log analytics
- Supports monitoring configuration changes under guidance
Patch Management
- Participates in patch management activities and routine maintenance efforts
- Troubleshoots common patching issues and escalates complex cases as needed
PKI Knowledge
- Has limited exposure to PKI concepts and the Cloud Engineering role in supporting PKI operations
- Performs routine PKI tasks using documented procedures
- All PKI-related work is reviewed prior to implementation
Product Knowledge
- Has exposure toKeyfactor'shosted products and core functionality
- Deploys and configures products to a baseline level using documented instructions
- Performslow-complexitytroubleshooting with review before changes are applied
Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills
- High School Diploma orequivalent experience
- Up to 2 years of related work experience and general knowledge within their functional area
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including native services and tooling
- Hands-onexperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools
- PowerShell scripting (medium complexity)
- Hands-on experience with Windows systems administration, including Windows Roles & Features and Active Directory
- Problem-solving skills (low to moderate complexity), with the ability to troubleshoot low to moderately complex issues
- Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Role and Responsibilities:
Manage AWS environment using Control Tower, EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, and related services.
Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes (EKS) and EC2 instances, including patching, lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
Provision and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform (CloudFormation a plus).
Triage and resolve ServiceNow tickets for OS and cloud issues, including vulnerability remediation, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
Automate operational tasks using Python scripting.
Drive cloud resource lifecycle activities, including commissioning/decommissioning, backups, patching, DR activities, and cost optimization.
Implement and maintain monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.); build/run operational runbooks and playbooks.
Design, deploy, and securely manage networks (LAN/WAN/VPN/firewalls/routers/switches) across AWS and on-premise hybrid environments.
Integrate, secure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems, with expertise in Active Directory, clustering, and Hyper-V.
Collaborate with security, operations, and application teams; participate in on-call and incident response rotations.
Work with security tools (AWS WAF, Inspector, Macie); experience with vulnerability remediation workflows.
Deep knowledge of AWS cost management and optimization practices.
Proven skills in documentation, process improvement, and compliance in regulated environments.
Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD tooling, and automation pipelines.
Support and manage Zscaler Cloud proxy, policies, certificate management, and API integrations.

Required Qualifications:

Position Responsibilities:
