SCOPE OF ROLE
The Robotic Welding Programmer is responsible for creating and maintaining robotic welding programs. Their duties include program creation/support/improvement, part selection and development, design improvement recommendations, and robotic/automation operations training. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, competency and/or ability required to fulfill these duties. Other duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Minimum Requirements
· Welding certificate, technical degree, or equivalent

· AutoCAD/Inventor/3D CAD experience a plus
· Experience with robotic and/or automated equipment programming
· Familiarity with PLC programming (ABB Preferred).

We are seeking a Senior Robotic Simulation Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in building high-fidelity simulation environments and synthetic data pipelines using NVIDIA Isaac Sim or similar.
In this role, you will directly contribute to the development of scalable, realistic virtual worlds that power the training and validation of robotic foundation models for perception, planning, and manipulation.
At GM’s manufacturing technology development team, you’ll work closely with robotics and AI teams within the Manufacturing Technology Development (MTD) team to create simulation scenes that replicate complex manufacturing environments, generate diverse synthetic datasets, and build robust data workflows that accelerate model development and deployment.

Our Surgery department has 12 fast paced rooms at Waterloo Medical Center. Our cases include trauma, orthopedic, podiatry, general surgery, urology, robotics and neurosurgery. RNs scrub, circulate and assist.
What you will Do:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
Hours/Schedule:
28 hrs/ week
Part Time, day shift, hours depend on cases
