This isn't a traditional engineering role where you'll receive detailed specifications and build to order. We're looking for someone who digs into problems firsthand—someone who asks "why" until they truly understand what's broken, then builds the solution themselves.

What You'll Do
You'll use AI tools—particularly Claude Code and the Claude platform—to build solutions that solve real problems in mortgage lending. Not proofs of concept. Real tools that people use every day.
Examples of problems you might tackle:
- Loan conditions arrive from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, and FHA in different formats. Loan officers spend hours reconciling them. Build something that consolidates and deduplicates them automatically.
- Underwriters spend significant time on tasks that could be automated, but "that's how it's always been done." Identify which tasks, understand why, and build the automation.
- Compliance requirements evolve constantly. Build systems that can adapt without requiring lengthy development cycles.
You won't always be handed a clear spec. You'll often be handed a problem—sometimes a vague one—and expected to dig in until you understand it well enough to solve it.

How you support the community.
- Deliver high quality pre hospital and emergency patient care, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
- Perform advanced clinical procedures including wound care, splinting/casting, gastric/urethral tube insertion/removal, IV line placement, phlebotomy, and bedside diagnostics (ECG, oximetry, glucose testing, urinalysis).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead engineering projects covering the company’s range of technology and product areas Design and develop complete devices that integrate mechanical, electrical/electronic components Interact with Product Management, Marketing and Customers to fully understand product requirements and develop cost effective and innovative solutions Create solid models and drawings for assembly, components, tooling and fixturing in SolidWorks Perform Finite Element Analysis on high stress components Work with internal and external vendors and consultants to create and test functional prototypes of new devices, component changes, and design improvements Create designs that are aligned with assembly and manufacturing capabilities; perform Design-for-Manufacturing reviews Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop assembly, process control and quality workmanship procedures Perform product verification and validations according to the defined design inputs and product specifications Develop multi-level Bill-of-Materials Write reports, specifications, correspondence, and procedures Ensure products comply with and are certified to applicable specifications and regulatory standards Stay abreast of any new technologies, including design software, rules, design practices etc.
Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of electronic products Perform schematic design, analysis, and Simulation of electronic circuits Provide guidance to internal and external sources for PCB layout Lead and train members of the Design Team Work closely with a wide variety of internal and external customers to define, meet or exceed design parameters during the design phase.

• Complete prototype or first article assemblies.

• Complete complex cable and harness assemblies based on schematics & drawings with minimal oversight.
• Documentation and tracking of processes and findings related to experiments, builds, root-cause analysis, etc.
• Read and interpret wire diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and schematics for cable assemblies.
• Assemble cable/wire harnesses in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and all applicable specifications.
• Inspect finished assemblies in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and all applicable specifications.
• Work with Engineering to propose and implement process updates.
• Work with Engineering to troubleshoot and rework failures.
• Work with Engineering to use, program and recommend equipment to enhance processes.
• Working knowledge of all special processes required for cable/wire harness assembly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
