About the Role

Inside the Job

Your day-to-day work will involve:


  • Drive sales working with our top dealers in high priority markets; support RFPs routed to your assigned dealers, assist with customer questions to “close” the sale, support competitive bids specifying MillerKnoll products
  • Build strong relationship across all roles inside MillerKnoll dealerships to serve as the ‘point-person’ for your assigned dealers/set of dealers; act as the dealer’s central resource for questions, training needs, product strategy inquiries, etc. to help grow MillerKnoll share of wallet
  • Partner with dealer sales representatives on new customer sales opportunities and development of product mix including open plan and ancillary products

What You Bring

  • Needed skills and experience for this role include:

GENERAL PURPOSE


Responsible for the Customer’s Own Material (COM) program across MillerKnoll Brands working as the liaison between the dealer, designer, sales, fabric suppliers, internal supporting teams and all manufacturing locations.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Manages the Customer’s Own Material (COM) process for all MillerKnoll brands (Herman Miller, Knoll, Nemschoff, Muuto, Geiger, Naughtone)
  • Works directly with the Material/CMF, Marketing and IT teams relating to systems issues, functionality and improvements of the COM System
  • Maintains data integrity of all COM information residing in the COM System working closely with the Materials/CMF team
  • Works directly with Muuto Supply Chain team in Denmark and Muuto European suppliers on all Muuto COM testing and production orders
  • Maintains data integrity in the Muuto COM Database which is managed outside of the Herman Miller COM System
  • Point of contact for all COM process questions both internally and externally
  • Assists dealers, designers and sales team with access to the Omni Navigation and COM System as well as the Muuto COM Database to obtain accurate COM information for order placement
  • Oversees the Swatch Reference Program with obtaining and maintaining proper COM pictures and fabric detail for all MillerKnoll Manufacturing locations
  • Process all COM Test and Colorway Set Up Requests submitted through the COM System
  • Act as the procurement agent for MillerKnoll purchased COM’s from the fabric suppliers who are part of the Supplier Connection Program issuing purchase orders through Baan and Maximo
  • Determines if order moves to Scheduling or placed on hold pending receipt of fabric
  • Oversees all COM fabric receipts, proper identification and packing list allocations to inhouse customer orders for all MillerKnoll brands and determines if order moves to Scheduling or remains on hold pending additional fabric receipt
  • Coordinates testing, production orders and material receipt and transfer according to where the product is being built
  • Investigates and problem solves any COM application issues, fabric shortages and transferring/shipping issues that occur
  • Investigates international shipping and customs clearance delays for fabric in transit to the Muuto European supplier network


Education/Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in business, social sciences, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 4-5 years' experience in a customer service professional, sales, or a direct commercial customer contact position that involves extensive multimedia (phone, email, web-based) contact; manufacturing or service industry preferred.

Performs daily in-depth patient profile review to assess, monitor and recommend appropriate drug therapy as applicable. Consistently evaluates, intervenes, and documents clinical interventions according to institutional protocols and guidelines. Accurately evaluates the usefulness of medical literature in optimizing evidenced based care.
  • Monitors drug therapy regimens and makes recommendations or modifications per protocol. Utilizes system nomograms and other guidelines. Documents clinical activities and adverse drug events. Attends medical codes as applicable. Follows, maintains, and reinforces system policies and processes for proper dosing, storage, handling, dispensing, and/or administration of medications and compounded products. Handles conflict and problems, including ethical issues, constructively and appropriately. Appropriately engages with other clinical pharmacists and leadership as needed. Engages with other clinical pharmacists for complex clinical situations.
  • Uses effective patient education materials and techniques for drug therapy, adverse effects, compliance, appropriate use, handling and drug administration education. Participates in coordination of transitions of care as appropriate. Responsible for service completion and patient satisfaction. Maintains clinical competency through licensure and departmental requirements. Serves as preceptor for pharmacy students or provides at least one educational in service annually. Precepts pharmacy students and residents as available. Assist in training of department of pharmacy and other disciplines. May participate in research and publication opportunities.
  • Active engagement within departmental mentorship and collaboration programs. Recognizes process failures and actively engages in analysis and improvement efforts. Participates in at least one medication use evaluation or quality improvement project annually. Oversees the work performed by pharmacy students, technicians and pharmacists to ensure performance standards are maintained and work is in accordance with state, federal and organizational regulations. Documents adverse drug reactions and medication variances per policy.
  • Follows, maintains, and reinforces medication use policies and processes to ensure financial medication stewardship. Supports cost-savings initiatives. Engages in review of medication insurance authorization status as applicable. Maintains understanding of 340b practices as applicable. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. .


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year of relevant experience, Pharmacy Specialty Board certification or ASHP- Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 pharmacy residency preferred. One year of experience will be waived for candidates who have been employed as student/interns within the Emory Healthcare system.
  • Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required within 90 days. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months, if directly applicable to practice specialty.
