Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Assists with treatments ordered by the provider under supervision. Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Performs basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing. Orders and stocks supplies, ensuring a clean and orderly environment. Documents provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Transcribes patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications. Provides patient education and explanations of risks and benefits. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to perform procedures and treatments. Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and medical procedures. Ensures compliance with clinical policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English.

Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient with the Spanish language at the Academy.
