The Admin & HR Associate will support office operations for our NOLA location and provide HR operational assistance across the Americas and EMEA regions. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support a distributed global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities (NOLA Office + US Operations)

• Oversee day-to-day office operations including supplies, facility coordination, vendor management
• Maintain office files, databases, and documentation using MS Office and GSuite
• Provide general clerical support such as correspondence, data entry, and reporting- example parking claims.
• Assist with operational needs across the broader US organization as required HR Responsibilities (Americas & EMEA)
• Support onboarding, offboarding or other HR processes including documentation, system setup coordination, and employee file management.
• Assist with HR operations such as timesheet collection, sign offs, rostering, background checks etc.
• Support employee inquiries and escalate as required to HR managers and leaders as required.
• Coordinate with HR Manager to support day-to-day HR operations, support local events, employee engagement activities. Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Bachelors in behavioral sciences preferred
• 2+ years of administrative experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office and GSuite
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Service-oriented, proactive, and able to work with global teams

Expectations:

Responsible for coordination of care to meet identified needs of the patient/family. Supervises the management of patient care utilizing critical thinking and nursing process, discharge planning, resource identification, linking and scheduling patients with required services, monitoring care delivery, advocating for the patient, care planning and evaluating outcomes. Coordinates patient care across the health care continuum, and assists other team members with meeting individual patient needs. This position may require flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) will be considered if enrolled in a BSN program with degree completion within 2 years of date of hire or date of transfer to an RN position.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in acute care area of expertise/equivalent service area, preferably in trauma nursing. Experience with electronic documentation/EHR systems.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 30 days of hire/transfer
Must challenge and successfully pass the Basic Dysrhythmia course curriculum within 21 days of hire.
If new to ED, must successfully pass the ED Core Curriculum and complete required on-unit preceptorship.
Current Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or an approved two-day Emergency Department Approved Pediatrics (EDAP) course issued by Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses Course (ATCN or TCAR) issued by Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer

Preferred:
Current Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or related certification

SKILLS:
Basic computer skills.
For MICN:
1. Demonstrates an understanding of the standards according to Los Angeles County (LACO) Guidelines of Prehospital Care.
2. Participates in Quality Improvement process as required by LACO Base Station Contract.
3. Attends and participates in monthly Base Station Meetings.
4. Maintains Mobile Intensive Care Nurse Certification Requirements and participates in continuing education efforts required by LACO Base Station Contract and Huntington Memorial Hospital Policy and Procedures.
5. Communicates with Prehospital and Emergency Medical Services personnel in an objective manner and communicates with the Prehospital Care Coordinator regarding unresolved prehospital care issues.

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
