- Read and write English
- Write legibly
- Read a tape measure, perform basic math skills: (Add, Subtract, Fractions, Calculate sales tax)
- Paperwork filled out properly daily.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Be able to wear all P.P.D’s when applicable (steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.)
- Must be able to wear respirator.
- Lift, climb, bend, and kneel to complete assigned tasks.
- Tolerate working at heights off a ladder or scaffold, on roofs, aerial lifts, etc.
- Perform heavy physical labor during adverse weather conditions.
- Work in confined spaces, exposed to fumes, chemicals, grease, acids, oil and in the vicinity of noise and vibration with proper P.P.D’s.
- Maintain cooperative and effective working relationship with others.
- Be available to work any time of the day to take care of your customer. (Before 8:00 am and after 5:00 pm during the week, any time weekends and holidays)
- 4 hours safety training required annually
- Must have refrigerant transition and recovery certification card (levels 2-3)
- Continuing education is expected.
Physical Requirements
- Lift 50 lbs. frequently, 100 lbs. occasionally, and 100+ lbs. with assistance
- Climbing (ladders, stairs, etc) (frequently with tools or equipment in hand)
- Bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting
- Extended periods of walking
- Regular exposure to weather conditions
- Operating a motor vehicle, Hi-low, forklifts, etc.
- Owning and operating power or hand tools-from floor to above head (drilling often over your head and/or awkward positions)
- Exposure to potentially harmful chemicals or materials with proper P.P.D’s
