Caravel Pay Details:

What You'll Do:
As a Behavior Technician, you will interact one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, from ages 2-14, in our high-quality children's therapy clinic. We utilize a results-oriented approach called Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA therapy), which involves observing how our clients react to their environment and how they respond to people around them. You will engage these special children in fun activities to help build their skills and social awareness and document their progress. All work is performed in our clinic, no travel required.

Instructs and counsels patients and their families regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and adherence to prescribed medication regimens, within the scope of practice.   • May conduct psychological assessments, including test administration, interpretation, and recommendations. Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries and maintains ongoing confidential records. Charts members treatment and progress in accord with state and NCQA regulations and in keeping with accepted community standards. May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation.
  • Collaborates with physicians in screening and evaluating patients for psychotropic medications, within the scope of practice. Utilizes resources of public and private agencies and community organizations to meet the needs of the members treatment. May develop, implements, and evaluates behavioral medicine and health psychology programs in a variety of settings, including primary care. Provides consultation to other care providers and health educators on matters relating to mental health, health psychology and behavioral medicine. Provides clinical supervision to psychology doctoral interns, psychology postdoctoral residents, and other mental health trainees/fellows as necessary.
  • May supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors as needed if supervision course is completed.

The College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Music Therapy to lead the development of music therapy. This is a non-tenure-track nine-month renewable position beginning on September 1, 2026.


The College seeks a music therapist and educator who is passionate and experienced with program development, community engagement, and interdisciplinary study. The ideal candidate has strong music skills, familiarity with accreditation and licensure, and a willingness to work with a variety of institutional stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to direct the development of a bachelor's degree in music therapy, recruit new students, as well as teach appropriate undergraduate and graduate offerings in related interdisciplinary programs (education, psychology, health sciences, and nursing).


The appointed individual will be responsible for teaching a variety music therapy courses as well as at least one general music course aligned with the candidates' areas of expertise and experience. Alongside leading program development and teaching, this individual will advise students, contribute to curriculum development, serve on departmental and college committees, as well as perform other tasks as assigned to support the objectives of the Department.


Minimum qualifications:



  • ABD in doctoral degree in music therapy or a closely related therapy field.
  • Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC).
  • Experience with undergraduate teaching.
  • Qualified to teach at least one course in music fundamentals, class piano, or ear training.
  • Evidence of capacity to collaborate with colleagues and/or faculty from other disciplines and staff collegially.

Preferred qualifications:



  • Terminal degree (PhD) in music therapy or a closely related therapy field.
  • Experience in program development and accreditation
  • Minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience in music therapy or its equivalent.

The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute, primarily located at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician leader with expertise in Hematology and Cellular Therapy (HSCT and CAR-T). This position offers a Division Chief leadership role in a growing and dynamic Hematology and Cellular Therapy program dedicated to clinical and translational research as well as exceptional patient care.


The Division Chief works with the AHN Cancer Institute Chair and other leaders to develop and implement strategies and processes for patients under the care of the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy. The Division Chief shall also maintain all current and future standards of care, both inpatient and outpatient, as well as accreditations needed to assure service for the region. The Division Chief will maintain the same standards and accreditations for subdivisions of the Cell Processing and Molecular Hematology Laboratory. The Division Chief will assume responsibilities for research and development within the division and connect these activities to the larger goals of the AHN Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will be considered for the role of Division Chief of the Hematology and Cellular Therapy Program.

Duties:

  • Ability to clearly articulate a vision, be innovative, inspire others and set high expectations for achievement

  • Proactive identification of issues and implementing solutions

  • Performs follow up for assessment of patients that received treatments for malignant and non-malignant neoplasms
  • Performs treatment planning for malignant and non-malignant neoplasms
  • Prepare all necessary documentation including, but not limited to orders, consents, charges and medical documentation
  • Responsible for directing all activities related to maintaining and advancing patient care within the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy
  • Oversee all programmatic and operational aspects of the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy
  • Oversee all Quality Assurance Programs for the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy
  • Directs all accreditation efforts for the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy and associated specialty laboratories including but not limited to FACT, CAP, CoC, etc.
  • Participate in regional, national, and international meetings
  • Participate actively in the Cellular Therapy Program, including patient selection, conditioning, cellular therapy procedure, post-cellular therapy management, and management of complications
  • Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned
  • Contribute to research activity within the department, including investigator-initiated trials, cooperative group and industry-sponsored clinical trials, laboratory investigation, and publication of research findings


Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Board-certified in Hematology and/or oncology
  • Completion of an ACGME-approved Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
  • 7+ years of experience in hematology/oncology
  • Extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of hematological malignancy
  • Significant experience in all aspects of cellular therapy
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong commitment to patient care and education

Your Role as a Leader in Speech Therapy
