Overview

We are seeking a senior associate to join our Employment Law Practice in San Francisco. Our practice combines high-stakes employment litigation on both the plaintiff and defense sides with substantive counseling for employers and employees. This role is well suited for an attorney who is comfortable handling complex disputes while also advising clients on compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic personnel decisions. Associates work closely with partners on significant matters from inception through resolution and are expected to assume substantial responsibility as their experience develops.

 

The Practice

Our Employment Law Practice spans single-plaintiff and complex employment litigation, executive and professional disputes, and counseling across the employment lifecycle. The associate will support and, as appropriate, take lead responsibility in matters that include:

  • Single-plaintiff employment litigation, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and leave-related claims
  • Wage and hour litigation, including class actions and representative actions
  • Executive and professional disputes involving compensation, equity, separation agreements, and restrictive covenants
  • Trade secret and unfair competition matters arising in the employment context
  • Representation of employers and employees in state and federal court and in arbitration
  • Administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies
  • Employer-side counseling on compliance, investigations, discipline, termination, wage practices, and policy drafting
  • Employee-side counseling on employment agreements, compensation structures, separation negotiations, and claims evaluation


Matters regularly involve complex statutory frameworks under California and federal law, expedited proceedings, and significant financial and reputational exposure. Associates work on lean teams and play visible roles in significant matters.


Responsibilities

  • Manage cases and discrete litigation components with increasing independence
  • Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, and substantive briefs
  • Conduct and defend depositions and support hearing preparation
  • Appear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences commensurate with experience
  • Provide strategic litigation and pre-litigation advice to employers and employees
  • Conduct workplace investigations and support internal employment assessments, as appropriate
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and agency representatives

Position Overview

The Product Management Team for the Deck & Accessories category has responsibility for the overall lifecycle, sales and financial performance of these products. These include the full line of Deck, Porch, Accessories and Adjacencies (e.g. decking substructure).


Position Summary:


Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management for the Deck & Accessories, this role will have direct responsibility for all of our fastener products within the decking product category as well as certain fasteners for the Exteriors category (e.g. AZEK Trim). These products include primarily mechanical fasteners (screws, clamps/clips, etc.) made of metal or plastic composites, as well as the tools or systems used for installing these fasteners.


The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the creation of a product roadmap, market/competitive research and analysis, new product development and testing, technical support, supplier management (co-owned with our Sourcing Team), pricing/profitability analysis and product rationalization. The Product Manager is ultimately the subject matter expert for their category and responsible for the financial results of the product line and must ensure that the product line is meeting the goals of the company. The Product Management team members are also advocates for our customers and continually find ways to add value to all stakeholders responsible for the manufacturing, marketing, distribution, sales and installation of the product.


AZEK does not directly manufacture any of the fasteners that we sell today. However, we do play a direct, leading role in the product development process from concept, product definition, design/engineering, development and testing. Therefore, this position works primarily with key supplier-partners, outside engineering/design resources and AZEK’s Legal (IP), Sourcing and R&D/Applications organizations to drive the development and testing of these products. The Product Manager also works cross-functionally to successfully launch new products to the market and manages the complete life-cycle of existing products.


The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping to drive sales growth and gross margin improvement of our products. This candidate should be highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, focus on the technical and other details and drive cross-functional execution for the category while also understanding and engaging at the strategic level as well. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Work with the Product Management, Sales, Sourcing and overall business leadership teams to develop a successful product and business strategy for the assigned products, including a multi-generational product roadmap.

This includes engaging cross-functionally across all aspects of product development and on-going product management (product development, manufacturing, logistics, quality, code compliance, applications testing, marketing, sales, customer service, demand forecasting, reporting and analysis, margin improvement, pricing and promotions, including event support).
  • Engage with and effectively lead/manage outside engineering, product design, development, testing and other technical service providers and suppliers as applicable. Conduct regular business and project reviews with suppliers.

Position Overview

The Office of Development is seeking a Senior Writer, Philanthropic Narratives, who can balance creativity with analytical thinking to advance our messaging strategy—ensuring our stories clearly communicate organizational priorities and celebrate the impact of philanthropic support.


Reporting to the Manager of Donor Relations, the Senior Writer serves as a strategic storytelling partner, shaping and elevating the organization’s most critical philanthropic narratives. This role leads the development of comprehensive campaign cases for support, compelling major and principal gift proposals, donor monographs, and impactful long-form stewardship communications—ensuring every piece clearly articulates vision, urgency, and measurable impact.


As a trusted writer and advisor to senior leadership and campaign stakeholders, this position leads narrative development from concept through final delivery—ensuring clarity, credibility, alignment, and inspiration across high-stakes donor materials.


Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of enterprise-level philanthropic narratives that articulate urgency, impact, and vision. Serve as a trusted writing partner to senior leadership, campaign volunteers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Create and steward strong thematic frameworks across campaigns, proposals, and stewardship publications. Support both campaign-driven and stewardship-focused storytelling across the donor lifecycle.
  • Translate complex organizational priorities, program strategies, and financial needs into clear, persuasive donor-facing narratives. Apply editorial judgment to synthesize inputs into disciplined, donor-centric storytelling, maintaining consistency of voice, tone, and narrative direction across high-visibility materials.
  • Write and manage the development of major gift proposals, campaign monographs, and long-form philanthropic communications. Guide materials through multiple review cycles, managing feedback and revisions. Conduct interviews with executives, subject-matter experts, and cross-functional partners to capture institutional perspective and nuance.
  • Collaborate closely with partners across the National Office, including but not limited to development, finance, program, and marketing, to align narratives with fundraising strategy, brand standards, and audience expectations.
  • Ensure all materials align with organizational brand standards and fundraising best practices. Adapt narratives as priorities evolve while preserving coherence, focus, and editorial excellence.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Resolve airplane level requirements into system level requirements and resolve system level requirements into component requirements with time and cost efficient validation methods.

  • Develop and evaluate system and subsystem architecture alternatives to meet project objectives and requirements.

  • Conduct trade studies to analyze and compare alternatives, rapidly converging on preferred configurations through system simulations and development test programs.

  • Lead and participate in system, component, and detailed design efforts, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to schedule and cost constraints to produce error-free, manufacturable specifications and drawings.

  • Lead and support system- and component-level validation activities, including test plan development, consultation on iron bird and test rig setups, test monitoring, analysis, report authoring, supplier test report review and approval, failure analysis, and mitigation strategies.

  • Drive certification efforts by creating required artifacts such as system safety analyses, failure modes and effects analyses (FMEA), and fault tree analyses (FTA); ensure traceability to regulatory requirements and resolve any regulatory conflicts.

  • Support ongoing production by promptly addressing build issues at Boeing and supplier facilities, identifying and implementing design improvements to enhance build accuracy, production rate, and line safety, and resolving rejections, functional test failures, and flight squawks.

  • Provide subject matter expertise to support global fleet operations, responding to airline and regulator inquiries, leading resolution of Service Related Problems (SRPs), and analyzing flight incidents to inform Safety Review Board (SRB) recommendations for the Continued Operational Safety Program (COSP).
