Job Description

Gotham is seeking a curious, collaborative, and communicative IT Associate to lead and support the organization’s technology infrastructure across all locations. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing hardware, software, and network systems while ensuring seamless technology operations for both retail stores and office teams.

Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Gotham’s IT infrastructure across all retail and office locations.

Job Purpose:
BTIG is seeking an Associate who will help lead and evolve the governance engine of a global, mid-sized investment bank to support our next phase of growth.  You will report directly to the CISO and be responsible for security assurance, compliance operations, and technology risk management.  You will help maintain control readiness, perform testing and evidence collection, and support risk and vendor assessments for internally developed systems and SaaS applications.  Your work will directly protect the firm's reputation and enable its business.  We don’t expect you to know every regulatory framework on day one. We do expect you to write exceptionally well, ask smart questions, and possess the grit to see difficult tasks through completion. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) 

• Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM): Own the vendor security review process.  You will assess third-party vendors to ensure compliance with the firm's standards, requiring understanding of our core business processes, attention to detail, and the persistence to chase down answers. Obtain and meticulously review SOC reports (e.g., SOC 1, SOC 2) for critical third-party service providers, evaluating their adherence to 'Complementary Controls at User Entities' and ensuring our internal alignment. 
• Client & Regulatory Due Diligence: Support the completion of external security questionnaires.  You will articulate BTIG’s security posture to institutional clients and regulators, translating technical controls into clear, professional narratives. 
• IT Controls & Audit Collaboration: Assist with internal SOX IT controls audits and access control reviews across our technology stack, including in-house developed systems and third-party SaaS platforms.  You will work with engineering teams to verify that permissions are correct and ensure evidence is gathered efficiently. Actively participate in external IT audits, specifically focusing on validating and documenting controls related to access management, change control, and system operations for key systems that handle financial data. 
• Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR): Assist the CISO in maintaining and testing the firm's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, including documentation updates, tabletop exercises, and coordination with Infrastructure and Operations teams to ensure recovery time objectives (RTOs) are achievable. 

Operational Support 

• Policy Development: Assist in drafting and maintaining information security policies and procedures. 
• Perform risk assessments and gap analyses for IT systems that handle PHI and financial data. 
• Automate and monitor controls through scheduled reviews, scripts, or tooling to reduce manual effort and improve coverage. 
• High-Touch Support: Experience directly supporting executives is valuable here; you will act as a bridge between the CISO and various business units, requiring professionalism and discretion. 

AI & Innovation 

• AI Governance: Support the CISO in defining the guardrails for Generative AI that balance innovation with risk (e.g., data leakage, appropriate use).

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. While not required, preferred certifications include Security+, CISA, CRISC, or CISSP.

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Onsite daily)

About the Role:

Scope: IC Setup & Imaging - Image non-reg/reg SCCM/LACE build, domain join, patch, CrowdStrike deploy

Software Installation - Support app installation configure drivers etc

IDA Integration - Prepare IC for IDA automated data management if applicable

IQ/OQ Vendor Support - Assist vendors during qualification, verify connectivity etc

SmartSync Data Transfer - Configure SmartSync for automated network data transfer if required

Internal Documentation & inventory management - Record system/PC details and locations in FLASH SCCM SNOW AD etc

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience in IT systems imaging and deployment, preferably using Microsoft SCCM and LACE tools.
• Familiarity with endpoint security software such as CrowdStrike.
• Experience in software installation and driver configuration on Windows platforms.
• Ability to work closely with vendors during qualification activities.
• Strong documentation and inventory management skills, experience with FLASH, SCCM, SNOW, AD or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry benchtop IT support.
• Knowledge of IT compliance and validation processes.
• Familiarity with networked data transfer technologies and protocols.
• Certification in Microsoft technologies or ITIL is a plus.

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $40.00/Hr - USD $45.00/Hr. LHH is seeking an IT Infrastructure Process Analyst to join our client's team in a full-time, on-site position, located in San Diego, CA.

This role reports to the IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Manager and supports teams by documenting systems, standardizing operational procedures, and strengthening compliance efforts aligned with NIST 800?171 and CMMC. You’ll leverage your senior-level infrastructure expertise to translate real-world infrastructure, security, and compliance workflows into clear diagrams, standards, and runbooks, while breaking larger initiatives into actionable tasks and work packages. The objective is to centralize documentation, planning, and evidence so engineering teams can remain focused on daily operations and project delivery.

Qualifications:

1. Required: 7+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, or related roles (network, endpoint, identity, or cloud admin) with strong infrastructure and architecture experience.
2. Required: 6+ years of experience documenting IT systems and processes (runbooks, SOPs, diagrams, standards, process mapping).
3. Required: Exposure to NIST 800171 / CMMC or similar frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.). Candidates must be able to speak to this experience.
4. Required: Strong technical writing skills for policies, standards, SOPs, runbooks, and how-to guides.
5. Required: Strong process-mapping and diagramming skills (Visio, Miro, etc.).
6. Required: Ability to translate abstract compliance requirements into concrete scope, documentation, and work plans.
7. Required: Solid understanding of SaaS-first operations and tools such as: Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, Endpoint management (Intune or similar), Identity and access (Okta, Entra), Basic networking (VLANs, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
8. Required: Comfortable collaborating with infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity analysts, IT PMs, and external consultants.
9. Nice to Haves:

• Direct experience supporting CMMC Level 2 or NIST 800-171 programs (control mapping, evidence collection, SSP/POA&M work).
• Experience with ITSM and Project Management platforms such as Freshservice and Asana.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Azure Monitor, Meraki alerting/webhooks, or similar).
• Certifications such as Security+, ITIL Foundation, or CMMC-focused training.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail; treats documentation and standards as core deliverables, not side tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Document current-state infrastructure, security, and operational workflows in collaboration with infra, cyber, and project teams.
• Create process flowcharts, workflows, diagrams, and high-level architecture visuals
• Develop and maintain standards, runbooks, and playbooks for alerts, maintenance, and routine infra operations.
• Translate CMMC / NIST 800-171 requirements into concrete infra-activities (patching, access, monitoring, baselines, logging).
• Maintain and improve SSP, POA&M, and evidence libraries tied to real workflows, tickets, configs, and reports.
• Normalize partner gap assessments into company structure (owners, Freshservice/Asana alignment, quick wins vs heavy lifts).
• Work with infra leadership to break initiatives into sequenced tasks with clear owners and dependencies.
• Coordinate project documentation, meeting notes, and follow-ups so engineers can focus on execution.
• Perform low to medium-complexity configuration updates in SaaS/infra tools under guidance (Intune, M365, Okta/Entra, monitoring thresholds).
• Participate in ticket triage and support activities where outcomes improve documentation, standards, or workflows.
• Facilitate working sessions to extract tribal knowledge, confirm current practices, and align on standard workflows and definitions.
