Seeking full time Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist to join team in Phoenix, AZ at a 300+ bed hospital with the Arizona Burn Center and Level I Trauma Center, providing care to the underserved population of Maricopa County.
The position includes employment through a multi-specialty group with 400+ providers exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching at the hospital.
The clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR.
TEE equipment is available to our anesthesiologists for perioperative and critical care patients.
About 11,000 anesthesia encounters generated per year.
In-house call is 4-5 times per month.
Position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with high acuity adult and pediatric patients while supervising and teaching emergency medicine and surgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students.
