Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
* Interprets customer specifications to define requirements for mechanical designs.

Minimum Requirements
* BS in engineering discipline, mechanical preferred.
* Minimum 2-4 years related experience, or an MS and less than one year experience.
* Experience with a solid modeling CAD program, preferably SolidWorks and/or ProE.
* Experience in medical equipment / device design with experience in electromechanical, electro- pneumatic, and/or blood pumping equipment development.
* Knowledge in medical device industry regulations and practices - ISO 13485, ISO 7198 & GMP.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, MS Office applications, and Adobe Acrobat.
* Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Design for Manufacturability and Assembly, DFM&A (cost/tooling/process considerations), preferably using SolidWorks CAD software.
* Understanding in design and development of injection molded plastic, plastic extrusion, casting, sheet metal, metal stampings, additive manufacturing processes, and machined metal components, and assemblies with high part counts highly desirable.
* Knowledge of mechanical design and development using metric ANSI/ISO dimensioning and drafting standards highly desirable.
* Understanding of GD&T, mechanical measurement and testing equip., and statistical analysis of test data.
* Experience with electronic document control systems in medical device and/or medical equipment design and development.
* Highly skilled at analytical reasoning, mechanism design, creative problem solving, and mathematical analysis.
* Ability to create and meet scheduled timelines (manage and coordinate tasks as required).
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Strong communication skills.
* Competent in use of Microsoft Office tools.
* Ability to operate test equipment such as various pressure and flow measurement equipment, temperature/humidity chambers, PC-based data recorders, simulators, DVM's and oscilloscopes.
* Familiarity and the ability to operate basic shop equipment such as hand tools, a drill and Dremel.
* Understand and interpret simple wiring diagrams.

- Performing Cast Disbursement Store audits on a monthly basis to ensure disbursements are recorded appropriately and preparing findings for supervisor review.
- Assisting with fixed asset closing including invoice and expense review to determine if charges should be capitalized based on GAAP and Company policy perspective while analyzing fixed assets for disposals.
- Working collaboratively with other departments.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher required with a concentration in accounting preferred..
- Prior ASC 842 lease accounting and monthly closing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications especially Excel as well as knowledge using SAP.
- The ability to dig into the details, research and reconcile accounts.

We are a continuous casting aluminum rolling mill who established operations in 1984 and located in Fort Lupton Colorado, 35 miles north of downtown Denver. We care about our environment, our people, and our community. We’re honored to be selected by the Department of Energy to receive up to $22.3 million in investment supporting our Nexcast Mini Mill and other breakthrough projects which will steer the aluminum industry toward a greener, decarbonized future. The Maintenance Planner performs the following functions:
- Prioritizes any safety concerns and ensures safety protocols are followed in all situations.
- Acts as the liaison between Maintenance and all other departments in the facility.
- Develops and maintains open communications within area of responsibility and supported departments.
- Works to ensure close coordination between EHS, quality, operations, maintenance and engineering to ensure the right work is planned then scheduled to minimize future problems and unplanned downtime.
- Develops detailed Work Order job plans to “Ready to Schedule” status, providing all of the information, kitted parts, tools and methods to support efficient execution of work.
- Works closely with the craftspeople in the development of job plans.
- Conducts planning meetings as needed to ensure the Job Plan meets the customer’s needs.
- Develops a weekly schedule of planned maintenance work.
- Leads a weekly scheduling meeting to achieve agreement and alignment on the upcoming week’s scheduled work, including equipment availability for maintenance activities.

- Adheres to the plant’s Work Management processes.
