We're seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join a dynamic team.
The primary role of the Cloud Architect is to help develop robust technical solutions and detailed execution plans that align with the center's prioritized IT and data requirements. Daily responsibilities involve carefully evaluating existing data repositories and applications amongst the customers to determine how to consolidate and migrate to more efficient and modern technologies. The responsibility also requires the architect to work closely with the members of the cloud team to refine data, IT, and cloud adoption strategies, ensuring that every piece of technology and every process contributes to our overall mission effectiveness.
In addition, the role also encompasses cybersecurity and security control requirements to safeguard IT infrastructure, lead the deployment of cloud architectures and applications, and continuously assess new technologies that could meet mission objectives. JOB SUMMARY
The Modeling Officer will support Sequoiaβs in-house modeling capabilities helping to develop, iterate and synthesize estimates of emissions reduction impact across multiple grantmaking portfolios. They will collaborate with external and internal partners to identify, model and interpret multiple scenarios of future emissions, and implement probabilistic discounting methods to those scenarios. In collaboration with others, they will develop and implement purpose-driven quantitative analysis that informs philanthropic decision-making, using efficient, credible methods and tools. The Modeling Officer will work closely with grantmaking staff to interpret quantitative findings into actionable insights. This Principal Engineer hardware position is focused on supporting and driving the design, development, integration, and maintenance of electronics as a part of on-site factory support of test systems to support weapon system product development and deliveries. The selected candidate will support and drive the development of electrical designs, Interconnect designs, electrical system analysis and integrated development environment specified by the factory solutions and the TSEC organization.
What You Will Do:
- Prioritize and handle several engineering tasks concurrently
- Lead small teams of Electrical Hardware design engineers in support of complex cabling, test chassis or test system solutions
- Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
- Lead the troubleshoot of hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions
- Work and coach/lead in a multidiscipline engineering team environmentΒ
- Interact and engage with Engineering, Operations PTEs, and program personnel to support factory readiness and robustnessΒ
- Support the development and derivation of requirements for hardware and electrical products
Qualifications You Must Have:Β
- Typically requires a Bachelorβs Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and minimum of 5 yearsβ experience in a related field.
- Eight (8) years of experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test
- Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:Β
- Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic
- Experience in factory/laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (Ex. oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters)
- Experience developing Production Test Equipment in an Automation environment
- Introduction or experience with computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniques
- Introduction or experience in common computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS-422
- Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design
- Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect
- Experience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software
- Working understanding of the TEE One Page Process.Β
