? DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY: Paraprofessional (Education Support Role) ?
? Location: Gastonia, NC
? Schedule: 7:30am - 2:30/3:30pm every day, year round M-F
After school program depending on when school lets out (usually around 6:30/7)

? What You’ll Do
Support teachers and licensed professionals with lesson plans and classroom activities
Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning
Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Monitor and report student progress in behavior and performance
Assist students with daily living needs (feeding, mobility, hygiene as needed)
Support use of assistive technology and communication devices
Help with classroom organization, attendance tracking, and materials
Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
Assist with extracurricular activities and program support
Transport students when required
? What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
Experience working with children—especially special needs students
Background as a paraprofessional, teacher aide, or similar role preferred
CPR & First Aid Certification (current)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to student success
Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality standards
Comfortable supporting students with physical and personal care needs
Ability to pass a background check
