Identifies Community First Health Plan members with specific health care needs and provides case management interventions. Analyzes, approves health care services and monitors outpatient care planning for Community First Health Plans members based on established criteria, plan policies and procedures. Formulates and communicates case management plans that efficiently utilize health care services to move the member along the continuum of care towards optimum outcomes in the safest, most cost effective manner.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing is required, BSN preferred. Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum three years’ acute care experience or managed care experience is required. Minimum one-year of concurrent review experience is required. Candidate must have utilization management and/or quality assurance experience. Basic knowledge of Medicaid, community resources and alternate funding programs is desired. Knowledge of InterQual screening criteria as well as DRG, ICD-9 and CPT coding is preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Current Registered Nurse license to practice professional nursing issued by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas is required. Active Certification in Case Management (CCM) designation is preferred.
Supports dentists and hygienists in teaching and patient care in both community-based settings as well as the dental clinic. The primary patient populations being served are developmentally disabled, physically disabled, sensory impaired, pediatric, and other vulnerable populations requiring advanced care. Assists dentists and hygienists in teaching best practices of patient care- especially for vulnerable populations in community and clinic settings. Prepares work areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies needed for patient care. Is responsible for maintaining equipment and instruments as well as their proper disinfection, transportation practices, sterilization, and storage. Helps to assure authorization and consent to treat is appropriate and updated medical histories are provided. Helps to ensure record keeping is timely, complete, and appropriate follow-up care is arranged. Collects program and/or billing data as needed for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
* Graduated from an accredited Dental Assisting School with Radiology Certification
* A minimum of 10 years of dental assisting experience-preferably serving vulnerable populations.
* Experienced in operating and maintaining dental equipment, notably portable dental units, mobile dental equipment, and portable radiographic equipment.
* Documented experience in complex dental delivery settings
* Experienced in interprofessional communication and the provision of interdisciplinary whole person health care.
* Experience with various electronic healthcare record (EHR) systems, medical and dental record keeping practices. Experienced in applying HIPAA, FERPA, and Infection Control standards in both clinical and community-based settings
* Experience in the social services field and is anticipated to serve as a liaison between the School of Dentistry and the community rotation sites preferred.

Part-Time Lecturer Positions
The Department of Community Nursing invites individuals interested in Part-time Lecturer (PTL) opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate level. Opportunities are available for clinical and didactic assignments. Part-time faculty are expected to engage in course-based continuous quality improvement/assessment per college processes and be committed to rapid pedagogical and other academic process changes as driven by environmental conditions.
Undergraduate Level Teaching:
Opportunities primarily include clinical agency, clinical skills laboratory, and/or simulation instruction in community, psychiatric mental-health, pediatric, and women's and maternal child health pre-licensure and accelerated BS clinical courses. Didactic teaching opportunities are available in the RNBS track and possibly other tracks.
Requirements:
Preferred individuals for clinical education assignments will have a Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program, recent clinical practice experience, and clinical education experience in higher education or a healthcare institution. Individuals with a Bachelor's degree in nursing must matriculate into a Master's Program within 1 year or obtain NLN Clinical Nurse Educator certification within one year to be considered for re-hire per the Massachusetts regulation.
Individuals for didactic assignments will have a graduate degree in Nursing from a Nationally accredited program and recent relevant practice experience. Preferred individuals will have teaching experience in higher education or a healthcare institution.
Graduate Level Teaching:
Individuals will have the appropriate level of graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program or its equivalent, as required for the teaching assignment. Assistant Teaching Professor

We seek a colleague who is an experienced Family Health (maternal-child or pediatric health) or Community-Population Health educator with a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring emerging professionals. However, expertise in other clinical specialty areas will be considered. Prospective faculty must be committed to rapid pedagogical, academic, and employment changes as driven by environmental conditions. This is an on-site, non-tenure position.
Primary responsibilities include teaching didactic (may include on-ground and online teaching) and clinical courses in the area of maternal-child, pediatric health, or community-population health in our undergraduate baccalaureate programs - traditional 4-year and accelerated second degree hybrid tracks. May also include other baccalaureate level nursing courses. Additional responsibilities include undergraduate academic advising, departmental, college and university service, and continuing education needed to maintain professional licensure, certification, and pedological innovation.
Required qualifications: A master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program, Massachusetts RN licensure or eligibility for MA RN licensure, and two or more years of full-time or full-time equivalent didactic and clinical teaching.
Preferred qualifications: The required qualifications plus three or more years of full-time or full-time equivalent didactic and clinical teaching, nursing specialty certification, and Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential.

- Monitor branch performance metrics and implement strategies to meet goals.
- Drive and grow the office's loan and deposit portfolios through proactive client relationship management, business development, and community engagement.
- Manage the office's daily operations, including cash flow, reporting, account management and security procedures.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and improving service processes.
- Lead the branch team while promoting employee development, assist with employee recruitment, scheduling and performance evaluations.

Maintains a strong pipeline of prospects through proactive business calling. Ask questions to understand the needs/goals of the business to make appropriate recommendations while looking for opportunities to bring in partners to help strengthen the business's relationship with the bank. Builds the bank's presence in the community.
- Community Office Manager, AVP- Including the above plus independently processes all Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000. Has the capacity to review and understand financial statements, providing an appropriate analysis of business performance.
- Community Office Manager, VP- Including the above and focuses on high level strategy, financial performance, and risk management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential position requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with related experience and secondary education preferred. A background screening will be conducted.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
- TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn core transaction system, debit card system, statement processing system, cash advance machines and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.

This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. May be required to lift 25 pounds in weight. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
